REMUS WOULD LOVE TO HAVE HIS OWN PET PARROT! Remus was born in 2024 and arrived at Pesaleidja parrot shelter on April 6, 2026, in Kuusalu. Remus has been a colony parrot. But that says something... Colony parrots are not usually close to people; they have lived in their own home in a hierarchical social structure. Their everyday life has been full of hardships - sibling squabbles, constant begging from the parent, food shortages, and overwintering in cold weather, to name a few. Remus's parrot has endured all of this over the course of a year and has made him more observant. But he has never been aggressive!!!! Upon arriving at our shelter, he defended himself instinctively by urinating, but he has never been aggressive. His big eyes looked at people with a kind of... attentive... constant... attention... Now, in the cat room, the parrot is not yet showing any signs of fear, but he feels comfortable there. People continue to like watching him with their big eyes, but we believe that he is already much safer and more securely, with a better sense of trust, that no one will harm him. If Remus could have a pet parrot home where he is loved with affection and patience, he would definitely be a wonderful, big-eyed companion for the rest of his life! SUURESILMNE REMUS TAHAKS KA OMA PÄRISKOJU! 2024. aastal sündinud Remus jõudis Pesaleidja kassituppa 06.04.2026 Liiapeksi külast, Kuusalust. Remus on olnud kolooniakass. See aga ütleb nii mõndagi.... Kolooniakassid pole reeglina inimesega eriti kokku puutunud, nad on elanud omaette kinnises hierarhilises tsunftis. Nende igapäevane elu on olnud täis raskusi - isaste omavahelised kaklused, emaste pidev poegimistsükkel, toidupuudus, külma talveaja üleelamine jne jne. Remus poiss on seda kõike oma paari eluaastaga kogenud ja see on teda teinud ettevaatlikuks. Temas pole aga kurjust!!!! Meie juurde jõudes kaitses ta end teadmatuses loomulikult urinaga, aga ta ei rünnanud kunagi. Tema suured silmad vaatasid inimest ainiti.....kindlalt....tähelepanelikult....kogu aeg... Nüüd, suures kassitoas olles, pole poiss veel pailoom, aga ta tunneb end seal päris kenasti. Inimesi meeldib talle jätkuvalt oma suurte silmadega jälgida, kuid me usume, et juba palju turvalisemalt ja kindlama usuga, et need talle paha teha ei soovi. Kui Remus saaks omale päriskodu, kes ta armastuse ja kannatlikkusega ära "taltsutaks", oleks ta kindla peale üks tore lustlik suuresilmne kaaslane kogu eluks!
