Rhonda

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Rhonda is a wonderful 10-year-old cat who proves that age is just a number. She still enjoys a good play session and loves getting involved when there’s fun to be had. A chatty girl, Rhonda isn’t shy about letting you know what she’s thinking and enjoys having conversations with her favourite people throughout the day. She’s also very affectionate and loves a fuss, happily soaking up attention and companionship. Rhonda is looking for a loving home where she can enjoy plenty of affection, a bit of playtime, and lots of company. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Rhonda could live children of secondary school age. With her friendly nature and sweet personality, she’s sure to make a lovely companion for her new family. Rhonda does have a mild medical condition and requires daily medication, please fill in a perfect match form to find out more.

About Rhonda

What life with Rhonda looks like

Rhonda is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Rhonda, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Rhonda?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Rhonda on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Rhonda if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Rhonda already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Rhonda isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter early rather than rehoming privately; they know Rhonda and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
