Rio ist ein richtiger Arbeitsmalinois, wie man sich einen solchen wünschen würde. Und gleichzeitig kein Hund für Menschen, die einen Mali ausschließlich als einen "gehobenen Begleithund" suchen. Rio ist ein sehr ernsthafter, wenig kindlicher kleiner Kerl, der in der kurzen Zeit schon viel an malitypischen Verhaltensweisen ausgepackt hat. Der 4 Monate alte junge Kerl bringt wahnsinnig viel Fokus auf seine Mission mit und lässt sich da auch nur schwer von abbringen. Gleichzeitig liegt ihm sehr viel an der Meinung seiner Menschen - er gibt sich wahnsinnig viel Mühe ein Good Boy zu sein und liebt es, Dinge verstehen und richtig machen zu können.
