Rocco is a West Highland White Terrier born in 2012. He was brought to the shelter on June 11, 2026. For many years, he lived on a farm with his son Alex. Today, I am looking for a quiet place where I can safely spend my doggy retirement. I perceive the world differently than most dogs because I cannot see or hear. However, this does not mean that I cannot enjoy life. I still like human closeness, peaceful walks in familiar areas and soft bedding where I can rest. West Highland White Terriers are brave, loyal and very attached to their owners. Although we were once famous for our great temperament and curiosity about the world, today I value peace, a sense of security and predictable daily routine. Due to my age and disability, I will find myself best at home without many stairs and with caregivers who give me time to get to know the surroundings. A fixed furniture arrangement, secured garden or quiet walks on a leash will help me feel more confident. I am a gentle and good dog. I no longer need big adventures - I dream of a person who will love me for what I am and show me that autumn life can also be full of warmth, care and love. If you are looking for a faithful friend to whom you can give a safe home and peaceful days, maybe I'm waiting just for you.

Mam na imię Rocco i jestem west highland white terierem urodzonym w 2012 roku. Do schroniska trafiłem 11 czerwca 2026 roku. Przez wiele lat mieszkałem na gospodarstwie razem ze swoim synem Alexem. Dziś szukam spokojnego miejsca, w którym będę mógł bezpiecznie spędzić swoją psią emeryturę.Świat odbieram trochę inaczej niż większość psów, ponieważ nie widzę i nie słyszę. To jednak nie oznacza, że nie potrafię cieszyć się życiem. Nadal lubię bliskość człowieka, spokojne spacery po dobrze znanym terenie i miękkie legowisko, w którym mogę odpoczywać.West highland white terriery to psy odważne, wierne i bardzo przywiązane do swoich opiekunów. Choć kiedyś słynęliśmy z dużego temperamentu i ciekawości świata, ja dziś najbardziej cenię sobie spokój, poczucie bezpieczeństwa i przewidywalną codzienność. Ze względu na mój wiek oraz niepełnosprawność najlepiej odnajdę się w domu bez wielu schodów i z opiekunami, którzy dadzą mi czas na poznanie otoczenia.
