Rocky is a handsome Husky, approximately 2.5 years old, with a friendly and sociable temperament. He loves interacting with people, but above all, he’s a dog who thrives on action and challenges. As is typical for the breed, he’s bursting with energy and needs an active lifestyle that provides him with ample physical and mental stimulation. Long walks, adventures in nature, and puzzle games will help him channel his energy in a positive way. For people who enjoy being active, Rocky can become a wonderful companion. Since Rocky was seized from his previous owner, we don’t know his past and aren’t sure how he’ll behave in a home environment. He has had little basic training so far and needs to learn, among other things, to walk calmly on a leash. Currently, he still gets very excited when he sees the leash, so he’ll need to practice finding more calmness. In addition, Rocky isn’t a dog who enjoys living with other dogs or other animals, and we won’t place him with small children either. His future owners must be prepared to invest time and patience in his training and provide him with the clear guidance and structure that a smart, independent Husky requires.

Rocky is een knappe Husky van ongeveer 2,5 jaar oud met een vriendelijk en sociaal karakter. Hij maakt graag contact met mensen, maar is vooral een hond die gelukkig wordt van actie en uitdaging. Zoals typisch is voor het ras, zit hij boordevol energie en heeft hij nood aan een actieve levensstijl waarin hij zowel fysiek als mentaal voldoende wordt uitgedaagd. Lange wandelingen, avonturen in de natuur en denkspelletjes zullen hem helpen om zijn energie op een positieve manier kwijt te kunnen. Voor mensen die graag actief bezig zijn, kan Rocky uitgroeien tot een fantastische kameraad. Omdat Rocky een inbeslagname is, kennen we zijn verleden niet en weten we niet hoe hij zich in een thuisomgeving zal gedragen. Hij heeft nog weinig basisopleiding gehad en moet onder andere leren om rustig aan de leiband te wandelen. Ook bij het zien van de leiband wordt hij momenteel nog erg enthousiast, waardoor hij nog moet leren om meer rust te vinden. Daarnaast is Rocky geen hond die graag samenleeft met andere honden of andere dieren, en plaatsen we hem ook niet bij kleine kinderen. Zijn toekomstige baasjes moeten bereid zijn om tijd en geduld te investeren in zijn opvoeding en hem de duidelijke begeleiding en structuur te geven die een slimme, zelfstandige Husky nodig heeft.
