Rocky was given up because the previous owner was moving. Unfortunately, Rocky couldn't come along. Rocky is now looking for a new home where he can enjoy his golden years. Rocky is a friendly and sociable tomcat who is just over 14 years old. He was once brought to us as a stray, and now he’s staying at our animal shelter for the second time. We sincerely hope that this time he’ll be able to move into a permanent home—because he truly deserves it. Rocky thoroughly enjoys attention and actively seeks it out. He “chatters” away nonstop—simply delightful! Actually, Rocky is just a very easygoing cat. But if there’s something he doesn’t like, he’ll make sure you know about it. He’s used to living with other cats, and that always went well. However, here in the cat room, we’ve noticed that his reactions to the other cats present vary. A household without other cats would therefore be preferable. Given his age, a young family might not be the perfect match, but otherwise he’s not particularly demanding. In the long term, Rocky would love to go outside—but of course, a cat-proof, enclosed garden would be ideal too. Considering his age, it’s advisable that Rocky have regular check-ups with a veterinarian to catch any potential health issues early. Rocky has already undergone a blood test at our animal shelter, and everything came back fine. In addition, he’s had dental cleaning treatment.

Rocky is afgestaan omdat de vorige eigenaar ging verhuizen. Rocky kon helaas niet mee. Rocky zoekt nu een nieuw thuis waar hij mag gaan genieten van zijn oude dag. Rocky is een vriendelijke en gezellige kater van ruim 14 jaar. Ooit is hij als zwerver bij ons binnen gebracht en nu verblijft hij dus voor de 2e keer in ons dierenasiel. We hopen dan ook van harte dat hij nu mag verhuizen naar een blijvend thuis, want dat verdient hij. Rocky geniet enorm van aandacht en vraagt er ook zelf om. Hij "kletst" volop. Gewoon super gezellig! Eigenlijk is Rocky dus gewoon een hele gemakkelijke kat. Maar als hij iets niet leuk vindt, laat hij dat wel merken. Hij is het gewend om samen te leven met andere katten en dat ging ook altijd goed. Hier in de kattenkamer zien we echter dat hij wisselend reageert op de aanwezige katten. Een huishouden zonder andere katten heeft dus wel de voorkeur. Gezien zijn leeftijd is een jong gezin misschien niet de perfecte match, maar verder is hij niet zo veeleisend. Op termijn gaat Rocky graag naar buiten. Een catproof afgesloten tuin mag natuurlijk ook. Gezien zijn leeftijd is het wel raadzaam dat Rocky regelmatig wordt gezien door een dierenarts om gezondheidsproblemen voor te blijven. Rocky heeft in ons dierenasiel een bloedonderzoek gehad en dit was allemaal in orde. Daarnaast heeft hij ook een gebitssanering ondergaan.
