Roli

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Roli is a brown puppy boy, about 7 kg. Roli is a clever, sweet puppy boy who absolutely LOVES kids. Every time he sees a child he lights up, giving kisses and rolling over for belly rubs. He’s also a little genius: he already knows sit, down, up, shake, high five, guess which hand, jump through a hoop, play dead, roll over, spin and come, and he’s learning new tricks all the time. He can be slow to trust new adults and is a sensitive soul, so he does best with calm, gentle, reward-based training. He’s still learning to go potty outside. A family with previous dog experience who is ready for a lifelong commitment. Puppies need time, patience and consistent training, plus plenty of socialisation, play and adventures as they grow. Ideal for someone who wants a best friend to share walks, trips and everyday life with for the next 12-15 years. Spayed/Neutered: not yet (too young) Vaccinated: puppy vaccines done, rabies due end of October Healthy: recovered after a hospital stay in September, on probiotics for his tummy Gender: male Dogs: not tested yet Cats: not tested yet Kids: not tested yet Current Situation: Currently in a foster home If you have fallen in love and feel ready for the commitment. About Roli

What life with Roli looks like

Roli is a puppy mixed breed dog waiting at FAPF Hungary in Hungary.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Roli, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Roli?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. FAPF Hungary handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Roli on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Roli if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — FAPF Hungary will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Roli already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Roli isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with FAPF Hungary early rather than rehoming privately; they know Roli and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
