This handsome young male dog with his deep dark shining eyes, his loyal doggy gaze, and his beautiful blackish-brown fur is a very extraordinary unique. A true looker! After Rollo arrived in Germany from cold Romania about a year ago as a puppy but had to leave because of his handicap, he is now, thankfully, since mid-December in a very loving foster family. Rollo shows all the good sides a dog can have there. At 1.5 years old, he is playful and happy and also very trainable, he masters the basic commands very well. He pays attention to the person next to him and has also built a lot of trust there. Snuggling is one of his greatest strengths, he loves people. Strangers in the house are also no problem. He gets along well with female dogs, and with all other dog encounters, it depends on the sympathy, but here too, the young male dog is eager to learn and orientates himself to his trusted people. He remains problem-free when left alone for short periods, but can open doors. In early March, he still has another important nasal operation on the second nasal side, the first operation on the one nasal side was in January. He can only breathe very poorly due to an inborn nasal passage defect and still makes a wheezing sound. Sniffing is still difficult, he takes in a lot through his ears, mouth, and tongue. We hope that he will feel better after the procedure. Rollo is in the middle of puberty. We recommend his new family to work with a positively working dog training class. Patient and loving training will strengthen his self-confidence and the bond to his trusted people. A more rural home with a garden would be perfect for him. Originally, our Rollo came from Romania, Busag. He was found as a puppy together with his two sisters Naya and Lotte and was brought to safety. Seine Geschichte: Herzbube Rollo möchte endlich für immer ankommen. Der bildhübsche junge Rüde mit seinen tiefdunklen glänzenden Augen, dem treuen Hundeblick und dem schönen schwarz-hellbraunen Fell ist ein sehr außergewöhnliches Unikat. Ein wahrer Hingucker! Nachdem Rollo vor ca. einem Jahr als Welpe aus dem kalten Rumänien nach Deutschland ausreisen, aber durch sein Handicap nicht bleiben durfte, ist er mittlerweile zum Glück seit Mitte Dezember in einer sehr liebevollen Pflegefamilie angekommen. Rollo zeigt dort nun alle guten Seiten, die ein Hund haben kann. Mit seinen 1,5 Jahren ist er verspielt und fröhlich und auch sehr gelehrig, er beherrscht die Grundkommandos sehr gut. Er achtet auf den Menschen an seiner Seite und hat auch hier schon viel Vertrauen aufgebaut. Kuscheln ist eine seiner größten Stärken, er liebt Menschen. Fremde Menschen im Haus sind ebenfalls kein Problem. Mit Hündinnen versteht er sich auf Anhieb, bei allen anderen Hundebegegnungen entscheidet noch die Sympathie, aber auch hier ist der junge Rüde lernwillig und orientiert sich an seinen Bezugspersonen. Er bleibt problemlos schon kurz alleine, kann aber Türen öffnen. Anfang März steht ihm noch eine weitere lebenswichtige Nasenoperation der zweiten Nasenseite bevor, im Januar erfolgte bereits die erste OP der einen Nasenseite. Er kann durch eine angeborene Fehlbildung der Nasengänge nur sehr schwer atmen und gibt immer noch ein Röcheln von sich. Das Schnüffeln fällt noch schwer, er nimmt viel über seine Ohren, den Mund und die Zunge wahr. Wir hoffen, dass es ihm nach dem Eingriff besser geht. Rollo ist mitten in der Pubertät. Darum empfehlen wir seinen neuen Menschen die Zusammenarbeit mit einer positiv arbeitenden Hundeschule. Geduldiges und liebevolles Training wird sein Selbstbewusstsein stärken und die Bindung zu seinen Bezugspersonen festigen. Ein eher ländlich gelegenes Zuhause mit Garten wäre für ihn perfekt. Ursprünglich kommt unser Rollo aus Rumänien, Busag. Er wurde als Welpe zusammen mit seinen zwei Schwestern Naya und Lotte gefunden und in Sicherheit gebracht. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro kann Rollo jederzeit kastriert, gechipt, geimpft und mit einem EU-Heimtierausweis in sein Für-Immer-Zuhause umziehen.
