Romeo is a sweet, intelligent male cat who is ready for his next adventure: a loving home of his own! When he first arrived at the foster home, he found everything a bit overwhelming, but Romeo has since grown into a social cat. He won't immediately approach everyone with enthusiasm, but he's not shy either. Give him some time to adjust in his new home, and you'll see that he quickly finds his footing. Romeo regularly comes to you for a cuddle on his own initiative and can really enjoy it! He prefers to sleep close to you, on the bed. Romeo is a true friend to all animals. He gets along very well with his siblings and older cats in the foster home, and he also gets along well with the dog. It's worth mentioning that this is an older, calm dog that is used to cats and doesn't chase them. Because Romeo is so social, a cat companion in his new home is highly desirable. Besides being a nice and cozy cat, Romeo is also quite smart. He's currently busy figuring out how to open doors! He's also already figured out that the tasty sausage for the dog is on top of the kitchen cabinet - a real smart one who loves a challenge. We're looking for a nice home for Romeo where he can later go outside, and preferably in a safe garden where he can burn off his energy. During an introduction, you meet the kitten, but also the foster family. Together, you look at whether there is a good match between you, your home situation and the kitten. Bij binnenkomst in het gastgezin vond hij het allemaal nog een beetje spannend, maar inmiddels is Romeo uitgegroeid tot een sociale kat. Hij zal niet meteen op iedereen even uitbundig afstappen, maar hij is ook niet schuw. Geef hem in zijn nieuwe huis even de tijd om te wennen, en je zult zien dat hij snel zijn draai vindt. Romeo komt na gewenning geregeld uit zichzelf een knuffel halen en kan daar dan ook echt van genieten! Slapen doet hij het liefst gezellig dicht bij je in de buurt, lekker op bed. Romeo is een echte allemansvriend wat dieren betreft. Hij kan ontzettend goed opschieten met zijn broertjes en zusjes, maar ook met de oudere katten in het gastgezin kan hij het goed vinden. Ook met de hond gaat het prima samen, al is het wel belangrijk om te noemen dat dit een oudere, rustige hond betreft die katten gewend is en ze niet najaagt. Omdat Romeo zo sociaal is, is een kattenmaatje in zijn nieuwe huis echt wel gewenst. Behalve dat Romeo een aardige en gezellige kat is, is hij ook nog eens behoorlijk slim. Zo is hij momenteel druk bezig te ontdekken hoe hij deuren open kan maken! Ook heeft hij al feilloos uitgevonden dat de lekkere worst voor de hond boven op de keukenkast ligt – een echte slimmerd dus die wel van een uitdaging houdt. Voor Romeo zoeken we een fijn thuis waar hij later ook naar buiten kan, en dan het liefst in een veilige tuin waar hij zijn energie kwijt kan. Tijdens een kennismaking ontmoet u de kitten, maar ook het gastgezin. Samen wordt bekeken of er een goede match is tussen u, uw thuissituatie en de kitten. Wanneer de kennismaking positief verloopt, wordt de verdere administratieve afhandeling geregeld bij de Dierenopvang (op afspraak). Met het gastgezin maakt u dan een afspraak om de kitten op te halen. Op deze manier zorgen we ervoor dat elke kat op de juiste plek terechtkomt voor een liefdevolle en blijvende toekomst!
