Rossi is a 9-year-old mixed breed from Romania who has lived with his family in Gmünd since 2019. Rossi urgently needs a foster or permanent home because his owner is terminally ill with cancer and does not have much time left. She does not want her owner to have to worry about her funeral and finding a home for Rossi right away, and wants Rossi to be well taken care of before she passes away. It has been clear from the beginning that he is attracted to women and has difficulties with some men. He lives with his owner and owner, as well as 2 male cats, in an apartment. The cats are not a problem at home, but when they run outside, he sees them as prey. Otherwise, his hunting instinct is limited. Rossi does not need more than 1-2 people, and children are unfortunately a hindrance. His nature is uncertain and reactive - if a situation overwhelms him, he also moves forward. Therefore, the new heart people should be experienced with dogs and steadfast. For his age, Rossi is still very agile, but he needs his rest periods. At the vet, he needs a muzzle because he does not like to be touched or held by strangers. At home, Rossi is a true dream dog who enjoys being cuddled. He does not beg, but asks politely for a taste. He also stays away from his own food until I stand up and give him the food. During walks, he is very interested in his surroundings and reactive, which is why he unfortunately does not get to run free. Water from above does not bother him, but water coming from below is not welcome. He is not interested in fetching, but he loves to search for treats in the garden. He shows little interest in playing with other dogs. They are sniffed, and then he moves on. When he has his cuddle buddy, he oscillates between playing clown and excessive love, which has already cost some little buddies their lives. Rossi ist ein 9jähriger Mischling aus Rumänien, der seit 2019 bei seiner Familie in Gmünd lebt. Rossi braucht dringend einen Pflege- oder Endplatz, weil sein Frauchen an Krebs im Endstadium erkrankt ist und nicht mehr lange zu leben hat. Sie möchte nicht, dass sein Herrchen sich gleich um ihre Beerdigung und einen Platz für Rossi kümmern muss, und dass Rossi vor ihrem Tod gut untergebracht ist. Von Anfang stand fest, dass er Frauen zugewandt ist und mit manchen Männern Schwierigkeiten hat.Er lebt mit Frauchen und Herrchen sowie mit 2 Katern in einer Wohnung. Daheim sind die Katzen kein Problem, nur wenn sie draußen rennen, sieht er sie als Beute. Ansonsten hält sich sein Jagdtrieb in Grenzen. Mehr als 1-2 Personen braucht Rossi nicht, Kinder sind für leider ein Hinderungsgrund. Sein Wesen ist unsicher und reaktiv – wenn ihn eine Situation überfordert, gehter auch vorwärts. Darum sollten die neuen Herzensmenschen hundeerfahrenund standfest sein. Für sein Alter ist Rossi noch sehr agil, braucht aber seine Ruhephasen. Beim Tierarzt braucht er eine Maulschlaufe, weil er ungern von fremden Personen berührt oder gehalten wird.Daheim ist Rossi ein wahrer Traumhund, der es genießt, gekuschelt zu werden. Er bettelt nicht, sondern er fragt höflich nach einer Kostprobe. Auch beim eigenen Futter bleibt er brav auf Abstand, bis ich stehe und ihm das Futter freigebe.Beim Gassi gehen ist er sehr an seiner Umgebung interessiert und reaktiv, weshalb er leider keinen Freilauf bekommt. Wasser von oben stört ihn nicht, von unten kommend ist es leider nicht willkommen. Apportieren interessiert ihn nicht, aber er sucht leidenschaftlich gerne Leckerlis im Garten. An Spielen mit Artgenossen zeigt er wenig Interesse. Diese werden beschnuppert, unddann zieht er weiter. Wenn er sein Kuschelaffi hat, schwankt er zwischen Clown spielen und exzessiver Liebe, die schon so einige Äffchen das Leben gekostet hat. Wir wünschen uns für Rossi einen guten Platz, vorzugsweise als Einzelhund, in einer nicht zu großen Stadt, bei Menschen, die ihn lieb haben und mit seinem Charakter zurechtkommen. Tel.: oder Mail:
