My name is Rubi and I am a small dog, the size of a terrier. I was born in 2013. I came to the animal shelter on November 14, 2019, after an intervention in the area of Grota Roweckiego street. My owners were evicted from the apartment. Probably they made a place for me in a stairwell cage, because they didn't want to give me to the animal shelter. Unfortunately, I couldn't wander around without supervision, so I ended up living here. I'm a bold senior with a character - I clearly show when something doesn't suit me, I can also growl. I'm a bit stubborn - I like to sniff scents for a long time, especially when something interests me. I don't like brushing or too long, persistent petting. I value peace and like to rest in my place. During eating I prefer to be alone, because when I feel threatened and surrounded, I sometimes defend my resources. I can walk nicely on a leash, I don't mind city noise, passing people or other dogs. I can also ride in a car, so you can move around freely with me. When I get to know someone, I can cooperate - it's just a matter of a little patience and understanding my character. I can love very strongly, smile and enjoy time together with my caregiver. Unfortunately, I ended up in the animal shelter a few times - I haven't had luck with people. That's why now I dream of a quiet home, with responsible caregivers who will give me time and space to trust them. I know I will repay you - with my love and devotion. Give me a chance for a better life, because I really am worth it. I have current vaccinations, deworming, I am castrated and microchipped.

Mam na imię Rubi i jestem małym psem, wielkości jamnika. Przyszedłem na świat w 2013 roku. Do schroniska trafiłem 14 listopada 2019 roku, po interwencji z okolic ul. Grota Roweckiego. Moi właściciele zostali eksmitowani z mieszkania. Prawdopodobnie zrobili mi miejsce na strychu w jednej z klatek schodowych, bo nie chcieli mnie oddać do schroniska. Niestety, nie mogłem błąkać się bez nadzoru, więc ostatecznie zamieszkałem tutaj. Jestem dziarskim seniorkiem z charakterem – jasno daję znać, kiedy coś mi się nie podoba, potrafię też warknąć. Jestem trochę uparciuchem – lubię długo wąchać zapachy, szczególnie gdy coś mnie zaciekawi. Nie przepadam za czesaniem ani zbyt długim, natarczywym głaskaniem. Cenię sobie spokój i lubię odpoczywać na swoim miejscu. Podczas jedzenia wolę być sam, ponieważ gdy czuję się zagrożony i osaczony zdarza mi się bronić zasobów. Potrafię ładnie chodzić na smyczy, nie przeszkadza mi miejski zgiełk, przechodzący ludzie ani inne psy. Umiem też jeździć autem, więc można się ze mną swobodnie przemieszczać. Kiedy już kogoś poznam, potrafię współpracować – wystarczy trochę cierpliwości i zrozumienia mojego charakteru. Potrafię bardzo mocno kochać, uśmiechać się i cieszyć wspólnym czasem ze swoim opiekunem. Niestety, kilka razy trafiłem do schroniska – nie miałem szczęścia do ludzi. Dlatego teraz marzę o spokojnym domu, z odpowiedzialnymi opiekunami, którzy dadzą mi czas i przestrzeń, bym mógł im zaufać. Wiem, że się odwdzięczę – swoją miłością i oddaniem. Daj mi szansę na lepsze życie, bo naprawdę jestem tego wart. Mam aktualne szczepienia, odrobaczenie, jestem wykastrowany i zaczipowany.
