Anani

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

ProfileAge: Born in March 2026. Gender: female. neutered: noCharacter: very friendly, puppy-like playfulSize: still growing, will be small to medium-sizedIm Shelter since: May 2026Family: siblings Maoma, Nila B, RW 21, RM 16 & RM 34Hello, I am Anani. Most of my siblings have longer fur than me, so I look a bit different. My beige fur is smooth, and I have small black color spots on my ear. On my snout, there are white spots, as if someone had gently kissed me there.I don't know why I was born on the street. I only know that no one was waiting for little puppies there. No one asked if we were hungry or if we were cold. We learned to be cautious quickly.Zluckily, I am now in safety. Here, I can play, sleep, and just be a puppy. I run with my siblings through our enclosure, play with them, and enjoy every moment. But sometimes I sit at the fence and look out. Behind the shelter, there must be a world where dogs don't have to wait. A world with walks, cuddle blankets, and people who love you.I would also like to have something like that. It's called a home. Maybe there's a place for me out there. Maybe by your side? Interested? If you are interested in Anani, please fill out our interested parties form () or write us an email or a message on Facebook. Anani is ready to travel and can travel to Germany with the next transport. Our dogs travel legally with Traces. Traces refers to the database system that monitors the entire animal transport within the EU. The dogs travel neutered (if old enough), vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed, and have an EU passport. Additionally, for dogs over 12 months old, a rapid test for the following Mediterranean diseases is conducted before travel arrangements: Lyme disease, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Dirofilariasis, and leishmaniasis. Katharina B. has taken the paternity for Anani and ensures a full plate. Many thanks on behalf of the dogs!

SteckbriefAlter: März 2026 geboren. Geschlecht: weiblich. Vielleicht an deiner Seite? Interesse geweckt?

About Anani

What life with Anani looks like

Anani is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Seelen für Seelchen e.V. in Alfter.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Anani, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Anani?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Seelen für Seelchen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Anani on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Anani if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Seelen für Seelchen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Anani already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Anani isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Seelen für Seelchen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Anani and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
