Adopt Sabrina

Female · Puppy

The pretty female German Shepherd Sabrina comes from the Hungarian animal shelter. She was found in the outdoor pen of the animal shelter one morning. The owner had dropped her off because he could no longer take care of her. At the animal shelter, Sabrina shows herself to be a very gentle, balanced, active, people-oriented, beautiful female dog. She already walks very well on a leash, shows interest, and is eager to learn. A smart, confident mouse who still has a lot to learn. She does not get along well with other dogs of either gender. She shows interest in a cat test. Therefore, cats should not live in her new family. For Sabrina, we have no special conditions for her new family. Whether an individual or a family, whether with children or as a second dog, we think Sabrina would feel comfortable anywhere if she is loved, well-exercised, and consistently cared for. Sabrina is a great female dog for German Shepherd lovers. If you are looking for an active, uncomplicated dog, Sabrina is the perfect choice. At a safe distance, Sabrina can be led past other dogs without problems. If you get too close to her, she wants to go to them. The pretty one is, of course, already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, medically examined, has an EU pet passport, and is ready to go. As always, we remind you that a dog from an international animal shelter needs time, patience, and a loving welcome. New impressions, new routines, and new bonds should grow in peace. Those who are ready to walk this path together will be rewarded with a very deep connection. The handover could take place on June 27, 2026, in Berlin, or alternatively in the Stuttgart area, so if someone falls in love with her and wants to give her a – forever home – it can happen! Kurzinfo: Name: Sabrina Rasse: German Shepherd Geschlecht: weiblich Neutriziert: ja Alter: 16.01.23 Schulterhöhe ca. This animal was surrendered to the shelter.

About Sabrina

What life with Sabrina looks like

Sabrina is a puppy/kitten dog waiting at animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen in Ketzin.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Sabrina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Sabrina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Sabrina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Sabrina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Sabrina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Sabrina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen early rather than rehoming privately; they know Sabrina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
