Wenn man Sam das erste Mal trifft, zeigt er sich anfangs von seiner vorsichtigen und etwas schüchternen Seite, da er einen kleinen Moment braucht, um anzukommen und die Lage zu checken. Doch hat er erst einmal Vertrauen gefasst, wandelt er sich in einen echten Schmusehund, der ausgiebige Kuschelstunden über alles liebt und die Nähe zu seinen Menschen sucht. Für Sam suchen wir geduldige Menschen in einem liebevollen und ruhigen Umfeld, die ihm am Anfang die nötige Zeit geben, um in Ruhe anzukommen. Gleichzeitig sollten sie Freude daran haben, mit einem fitten Senior schöne Spaziergänge zu machen und den Tag danach gemütlich auf dem Sofa ausklingen zu lassen.
