Sammy is a very alert and quick-witted guy who, unfortunately, guards his territory and his people extremely. He needs a home without children, cats, and small animals. A home with a confident female dog could work; with other male dogs, Sammy is only conditionally compatible, even when off-leash. Sammy gets extremely stressed by stimuli and then shows displacement behaviors. Sammy has a very pronounced prey drive, which also kicks in with Nordic Walkern, joggers, cyclists, and cars.

Sammy ist ein sehr aufgeweckter und wiffer Kerl, der leider sein Revier und seine Menschen extrem bewacht. Er braucht ein Zuhause ohne Kinder, Katzen und Kleintiere. Ein Zuhause mit einer souveränen Hündin könnte funktionieren, mit anderen Rüden ist Sammy auch im Freilauf nur bedingt verträglich. Sammy wird von Reizen extrem gestresst und zeigt dann Ersatzhandlungen. Sammy hat einen sehr ausgeprägten Jagdtrieb, der auch bei Nordic Walkern, Joggern, Radfahrern und Autos anspringt.
