Samuel's story began in fear and uncertainty he was found abandoned, scared, and all alone. After the signatures, he came to us quite by chance. Originally from another refugee, Live PAWS welcomed him with open arms after seeing the close bond he had formed with another dog, Augustin. Understandably, Samuel has struggled with confidence, likely a result of his early experiences. At first, he would hide away, wary of the world around him, and as a result, was often overlooked. But slowly and steadily, Samuel is learning to trust. Thanks to Augustin's gentile guidance, Samuel is now exploring more of life walking on a lead and starting to enjoy new experiences. He even spent time in emergency foster care during the decades, where he settled in beautiful. There's still a journey away, but Samuel's progress has been nothing short of warming. His kind and loving nature is beginning to shine through more each day. Samuel would throw in a calm, quiet home with patient adoptions who can offer him the assurance and love he needs to continue blossoming.
