Adopt Sanny und Coco_Wiedervermittlung

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 10 years

Sanny, tomcat and Coco, kitten, born 2015, suitable for apartment living We took the two in when they were 6 months old from the animal shelter Ludwisgburg. Today they are 10 years old. It goes without saying that we can only give them up together. The cats were vaccinated and dewormed by the vet every year. They never had any problems. They always get high-quality dry and wet food. We do not want to give our little darlings up, but we have had new kittens and since then, a lot has changed, and we are not sure if the two are still content. The cats had their own room until our new kittens arrived. We converted it into a children's room, and since then, Coco has lost hair due to stress. According to the vet, she is completely healthy but just stressed. We have had new kittens again and have tried everything to keep our beloved cats, but it simply does not work. Both cats have never scratched anyone, not even children, until our new kittens arrived. I assume Sanny feels threatened. He has already scratched the small one three times on the head. Sanny is otherwise very loving, very cuddly, very relaxed, and a bit of a glutton. He loves the wet food from Filet Finefood. He loves being stroked all over his body and would rather stay with you at night and sleep at the foot of the bed. Coco is a bit shyer or more cautious than Sanny. She is very loving, very playful, and totally relaxed. She of course also wants to be stroked. She gets her cuddles herself and then disappears back into her bed. In the evenings on the couch, she likes to lie on your shoulder and purr. Overall, they are the perfect cats for us. Unfortunately, our little one was scratched very close to the eye twice, and here we want to act promptly. Both cats are currently with a friend who already has two cats. With the two cats from him, Sanny and Coco get along very well. Still, I think it is better if they go to a nice home where there are no other cats. We want them to have everything they need and to be simply happy. Note:. This animal is not suitable for homes with children.

About Sanny und Coco_Wiedervermittlung

What life with Sanny und Coco_Wiedervermittlung looks like

Sanny und Coco_Wiedervermittlung is a small adult mixed breed cat waiting at Tierheim Ludwigsburg in Ludwigsburg.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Sanny und Coco_Wiedervermittlung, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Sanny und Coco_Wiedervermittlung?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Ludwigsburg handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Sanny und Coco_Wiedervermittlung on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Sanny und Coco_Wiedervermittlung if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Ludwigsburg will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Sanny und Coco_Wiedervermittlung already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Sanny und Coco_Wiedervermittlung isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Ludwigsburg early rather than rehoming privately; they know Sanny und Coco_Wiedervermittlung and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
