Schlitzohr and Mampffred are looking for a new home in an existing herd. Their previously existing, older fellow animals have passed away due to old age, which is why I now want to integrate the two remaining sheep into an existing herd. Both were born in the spring/summer of 2014 and vaccinated against bluetongue disease. Of course, the two should not be slaughtered; they will only be rehomed in loving hands. Kamerunschaf types are typically the two strangers initially shy towards each other but become trusting and will eat from your hand after a get-to-know phase. Mampffred came to me as a rejected lamb and would be raised on a bottle, while Schlitzohr was found alone by the roadside as a lamb and integrated into my small herd. Both are not familiar with electrified fence posts; I consider this type of fencing unsuitable for Kamerunschaf and have always lived on a pasture surrounded by electrified wild game fencing. Schlitzohr und Mampffred suchen eine neues Zuhause in einer bestehenden Herde. Ihre bisherigen, älteren Artgenossen sind aufgrund des hohen Alters verstorben, weshalb ich jetzt schon die beiden verbliebenen Schafe in eine bestehende Herde integrieren möchte. Beide sind im Frühjahr / Sommer 2014 geboren und gegen die Blauzungenkrankheit geimpft. Selbstverständlich sollen die Beiden nicht geschlachtet werden. Sie werden nur in liebevolle Hände vermittelt. Kamerunschaf typisch sind die beiden Fremden gegenüber scheu, nach einer Kennenlernphase aber zutraulich und fressen aus der Hand. Mampffred kam als verstoßenes Lamm zu mir und würde mit der Flasche großgezogen, Schlitzohr wurde als Lamm alleine am Rande einer Landstraße gefunden und in meine kleine Herde integriert. Beide kennen keine stromführenden Steckweidezäune, ich halte diese Art der Einzäunung für Kamerunschafe für ungeeignet, sondern haben immer auf einer Weide mit, von außen stromgesicherten, Wildzaun gelebt.
