Senta is a female dog who has not had much experience so far. She is very people-oriented but only shows joyful reactions to familiar humans. She is neutral to friendly towards other dogs, but should be separated from them when food is present as she starts to show mild resource guarding. However, like in other situations, her caregiver can intervene and regulate this behavior. Senta displays a very stressed side in our shelter life which is why we are looking for at least a private foster home for her. She cannot be left alone for long periods of time and bonds strongly with one person whom she does not want to leave. Senta enjoys car rides, preferably secured on the back seat. She is house trained and likes going for walks but still needs some work as she doesn't really know how to walk on a leash. She shows typical behavior for a herding dog breed, learns quickly and would "guard" her humans if given the chance.

Senta ist eine Hündin, die bisher leider noch nicht viel kennen gelernt hat. Sie ist sehr menschenbezogen, zeigt aber freudige Reaktionen nur bei ihr bekannten Menschen. Anderen Hunden gegenüber zeigt sie sich neutral bis freundlich, nur bei Futter sollte anfangs getrennt werden, weil hier leichte Resourcenverteidigung anfängt. Aber auch hier, wie in anderen Situationen, kann ihre Bezugsperson regulierend eingreifen. Senta zeigt bei uns im Tierheimalltag eine sehr gestresste Seite, weshalb wir uns für sie mindestens eine private Pflegestelle wünschen. Sie kann nicht gut allein bleiben und bindet sich sehr stark, meist an nur eine Person, von der sie sich nicht trennen lassen möchte. Senta fährt sehr gerne im Auto mit, allerdings am liebsten gesichert auf dem Rücksitz. Sie ist stubenrein und geht gerne spazieren, allerdings muss auch hier noch etwas Arbeit investiert werden, da sie das an der Leine gehen wohl nicht wirklich kennt. Sie zeigt sich rassetypisch für eine Schäferhündin, lernt schnell, würde aber auch ihre Menschen „hüten“, wenn sie Gelegenheit dazu erhält.
