Despite her past, Shelley retains her gentle and loving nature. She is particularly fond of people and thrives on attention, constantly seeking contact. A pat on the head, a cuddle, or simply being in the same room makes her happy. Her eyes seem to ask, "Can I be part of your family?" And to be honest, it breaks your heart. Shelley deserves more than a kennel. She deserves a home where she doesn't have to wait for attention, but where love is a natural part of her day. A place where she can finally experience what it's like to be a real family dog. At 7, Shelley has a whole life ahead of her. A life of walks, soft beds, quiet evenings, and most of all, a person who never leaves her side. She doesn't ask for much, just a chance to be loved as she always deserved. Maybe that home is yours.

Shelley is zo’n hond.Deze prachtige Podenca van 7 jaar oud kwam met 3 andere Podenca’s in het asiel terecht nadat de jager bij wie ze haar hele leven woonde met pensioen ging.Hoewel haar verleden achter haar ligt, draagt Shelley haar zachte en liefdevolle karakter nog altijd met zich mee.Wat Shelley misschien wel het meest kenmerkt, is hoe ontzettend graag ze bij mensen is. Ze bloeit helemaal op van aandacht en zoekt voortdurend contact. Een aai over haar kop, een knuffelmoment of gewoon samen in dezelfde ruimte zijn maakt haar gelukkig. Ze kijkt je aan met ogen die lijken te vragen: “Mag ik bij jou horen?” En eerlijk gezegd breekt dat een beetje je hart.Shelley verdient zoveel meer dan een kennel.
