Shimi is a giant cross rabbit butterfly that was loved and well followed by her family. But she had to be entrusted to us with her boyfriend Haiiro because her family was beginning to be unable to keep them in good conditions and who preferred to let them go to ensure their well-being. Haiiro was much older, he was adopted in a context that suits him perfectly! Shimi is still in adoption. As soon as we get into the room, Shimi walks in, observes, explores... She is very interested in what surrounds her and is very curious. However, she makes her decisions at her own pace, including for interactions with humans: she accepts caresses when she wants to, and makes it clear otherwise. It can be afraid of loud noises and will need a secure and reassuring environment. It tends to snack, it's manageable, but it's to be taken into account (libraries will be protected). We are looking for a home for her with human patients who will take the time to make her comfortable. Food will be a good lever to create a link: it is greedy! This home must already be inhabited by a gentle and quiet male rabbit with whom she can live. If this is not the case, it will have to be planned: Shimi needs the company of at least one congener. It is recalled that the rabbit is a gregarious animal that must live as a duet at least. We will accompany you in this process. Adoption is possible in Brittany and neighbouring departments. Shimi est une lapine croisée géante papillon qui était aimée et bien suivie par sa famille. Elle a cependant dû nous être confiée avec son copain Haiiro car sa famille commençait à ne plus pouvoir les garder dans des bonnes conditions et qui a préféré les laisser partir pour assurer leur bien être. Haiiro était beaucoup plus âgé, il a été adopté dans un contexte qui lui convenait parfaitement ! Shimi est toujours à l’adoption. Dès qu’on entre dans la pièce, Shimi accourt, observe, explore… Elle est très intéressée par ce qui l’entoure et se montre très curieuse. Elle prend cependant ses décisions à son rythme, y compris pour les interactions avec les humains : elle accepte les caresses quand elle en a envie, et le fait savoir clairement dans le cas contraire. Elle peut avoir peur des bruits forts et aura besoin d’un environnement sécurisé et rassurant. Elle a tendance à grignoter, c’est gérable, mais c’est à prendre en compte (on protégera les bibliothèques). Nous recherchons pour elle un foyer avec des humain·es patient·es qui prendront le temps de la mettre à l’aise. La nourriture sera un bon levier pour créer un lien : elle est gourmande ! Ce foyer devra être déjà habité par un lapin mâle doux et tranquille avec qui elle pourra cohabiter. Si ce n’est pas le cas, cela devra être en projet : Shimi a besoin de la compagnie d’au moins un congénère. On le rappelle : le lapin est un animal grégaire qui doit vivre au moins en duo.
