Sid ist eine junge Hündin mit einem ganz besonderen Erscheinungsbild: Ihr Oberkiefer steht deutlich vor dem Unterkiefer. Das verleiht ihr einen unverwechselbaren Ausdruck – und tut ihrer Lebensfreude absolut keinen Abbruch. Charakterlich ist Sid ein echter Schatz. Sie ist sehr freundlich, offen und aktiv, dabei überhaupt nicht schüchtern. Mit Kindern, Katzen und anderen Hunden zeigt sie sich ausgesprochen verträglich und sozial. Sid geht neugierig auf ihre Umwelt zu und bringt eine tolle Grundlage mit, um sich zu einer wunderbaren Begleiterin zu entwickeln. Gefunden wurde Sid auf einer Landstraße nahe Larissa, zusammen mit ihrem Geschwisterchen, das leider nach einem Autounfall nicht überlebt hat. Eine engagierte Frau brachte beide sofort zum Tierarzt und nahm Sid anschließend bei sich auf. Dort lebt sie aktuell im Haus und Garten und wird liebevoll betreut. Vermutlich steckt in Sid ein Herdenschutzhund-Mix. Herdenschutzhunde sind ursprünglich dafür gezüchtet worden, eigenständig zu arbeiten und Herden zu beschützen. Entsprechend bringen sie oft Eigenschaften wie Wachsamkeit, Selbstständigkeit und eine enge Bindung zu „ihren“ Menschen mit. Gleichzeitig brauchen sie eine klare, ruhige Führung und Menschen, die ihnen Sicherheit und Struktur geben. Erfahrung mit dieser Art Hund oder die Bereitschaft, sich intensiv mit ihren Bedürfnissen auseinanderzusetzen, ist daher wichtig. Sid steht noch ganz am Anfang ihres Lebens – sie kennt bisher kaum etwas und muss das Hunde-1×1 erst noch lernen. Umweltreize, Alltagssituationen, Leinenführigkeit oder Grundkommandos sind ihr noch fremd. Deshalb sucht sie ein Zuhause bei geduldigen Menschen, die Freude daran haben, ihr Schritt für Schritt die Welt zu zeigen und sie liebevoll zu erziehen.
