She is one of 13 wild Mastins from Santiuste de Pedraza who survived completely without human contact on an abandoned farm. She was the only one who let herself be rescued. At the shelter, she has flourished - from a frightened dog, she has become a calm, gentle and affectionate soul. She loves treats, enjoys slow petting on the neck and runs with her dog buddies (she currently lives happily with two males). Strangers still scare her, especially outside in noisy and bustling areas. She doesn't need pitying looks, but people with dog experience, patience and a big heart who give her time. A confident first-time dog would give her enormous security. Despite her fears, Sidra never bites. Whoever wins her trust, which only happens with a lot of love and patience, gets a dog that rewards you with boundless loyalty and gratitude. She is not a dog for everyone.

Sie ist eine von 13 verwilderten Mastins aus Santiuste de Pedraza, die völlig ohne Menschenkontakt auf einem verlassenen Hof überlebt haben. Sie war die einzige, die sich retten ließ. Im Tierheim ist sie aufgeblüht – aus der verängstigten Hündin ist eine ruhige, sanfte und verschmuste Seele geworden. Sie liebt Leckerlis, genießt Streicheleinheiten am Hals ganz langsam und rennt mit ihren Hundekumpels (aktuell lebt sie glücklich mit zwei Rüden zusammen). Fremde Menschen machen ihr noch Angst, vor allem draußen bei Lärm und Trubel. Sie braucht keine Mitleidsblicke, sondern Menschen mit Hundeerfahrung, Geduld und einem großen Herzen, die ihr Zeit geben. Ein souveräner Ersthund würde ihr enorm viel Sicherheit geben. Trotz ihrer Ängste beißt Sidra nie. Wer ihr Vertrauen gewinnt, was nur mit viel Liebe und Geduld passiert, bekommt eine Hündin, die einen mit grenzenloser Loyalität und Dankbarkeit beschenkt. Sie ist kein Hund, der für jeden geeignet ist.
