Unsere kleine Sif steckt mitten in der wohl schönsten Zeit eines Hundekindes. Gemeinsam mit ihren zehn Geschwistern darf sie unbeschwert aufwachsen, spielen, herumtollen und jeden Tag ein bisschen mehr von ihrer Umgebung kennenlernen. Noch ist ihr Leben ganz sorglos, doch schon bald wartet ein großes Abenteuer auf sie: der Einzug in ihre eigene Familie. Ihre Mama Reia lebte zuvor gemeinsam mit ihrer Mutter Arbi und weiteren Hunden auf einem ländlichen Grundstück in Portugal. Da die Hunde dort nicht kastriert waren, kam es immer wieder zu Nachwuchs. Als der Besitzer zunehmend Schwierigkeiten hatte, die Tiere zu versorgen, bat er unser Partnertierheim Adoromimos um Hilfe. So kam Reia hochschwanger in die Obhut des Tierheims und durfte ihre Welpen dort in Sicherheit zur Welt bringen. Seitdem kümmert sich Mama Reia liebevoll um ihre große Rasselbande und sorgt dafür, dass die Kleinen wohlbehütet heranwachsen können. Für Sif bedeutet das eine Kindheit voller kleiner Entdeckungen, gemeinsamer Spielstunden und unbeschwerter Momente. Ab Dezember darf Sif ihre Köfferchen packen und in ihre eigene Familie ziehen. Dort wartet dann das nächste große Abenteuer auf sie: das Leben als geliebter Familienhund. Natürlich muss die kleine Maus noch alles lernen, was dazugehört. Dafür sucht sie Menschen, die Freude an einem jungen Hund haben, ihr mit Geduld und liebevoller Konsequenz die Welt zeigen und sie beim Großwerden begleiten möchten.
