Silas - I am looking for a new home. Hello, dear people, I thought I had already found my forever home. It is all the more difficult for me to tell you today that I have to look for a family again. The reason is not me. Unfortunately, the youngest member of my family has developed an allergy, so Alfi and I have to move out with a heavy heart. It is just as painful for my people as it is for us. I live on a farm and take great joy in taking care of the house and property. It is just in my blood. I am attentive, loyal and take my task very seriously. At the same time, I enjoy the closeness to my people and I am happy to be where my family is. I also get along well with the cat that belongs to our family. I am a confident dog and I wish for people who give me security and orientation. If I know that I can rely on you, I am a loyal companion who goes through thick and thin with you. I master new situations best with people by my side who treat me calmly, consistently and lovingly. Of course, I also know walks. Since I have lived on the farm so far, I may still need to work on my leash obedience. With patience, practice and shared experiences, I will definitely learn that quickly. My greatest wish would be to find a new home together with my friend Alfi. We know each other well and would be happy to be able to stay together. If that is not possible, I can also imagine starting a new life alone - if my people are willing to give me time to arrive. I promise you not to be perfect. Ich bin Silas – und ich suche ein neues Zuhause. Hallo ihr lieben Menschen, eigentlich hatte ich gedacht, ich hätte mein Für-immer-Zuhause schon gefunden. Umso schwerer fällt es mir, euch heute zu erzählen, dass ich noch einmal auf die Suche nach einer Familie gehen muss. Der Grund liegt nicht an mir. Leider hat der jüngste Mensch meiner Familie eine Allergie entwickelt, sodass Alfi und ich schweren Herzens ausziehen müssen. Für meine Menschen ist das genauso schmerzhaft wie für uns. Ich lebe auf einem Hof und passe dort mit großer Freude auf Haus und Grundstück auf. Das liegt mir einfach im Blut. Ich bin aufmerksam, treu und nehme meine Aufgabe sehr ernst. Gleichzeitig genieße ich die Nähe zu meinen Menschen und bin gerne dort, wo meine Familie ist. Auch mit der Katze, die zu unserer Familie gehört, komme ich gut zurecht. Ich bin ein selbstbewusster Hund und wünsche mir Menschen, die mir Sicherheit und Orientierung geben. Wenn ich weiß, dass ich mich auf euch verlassen kann, bin ich ein loyaler Begleiter, der mit euch durch dick und dünn geht. Neue Situationen meistere ich am besten mit Menschen an meiner Seite, die ruhig, konsequent und liebevoll mit mir umgehen. Spaziergänge kenne ich natürlich auch. Da ich bisher überwiegend auf dem Hof gelebt habe, darf ich an meiner Leinenführigkeit noch etwas arbeiten. Mit Geduld, Übung und gemeinsamen Erlebnissen werde ich das bestimmt schnell lernen. Mein größter Wunsch wäre es, gemeinsam mit meinem Freund Alfi ein neues Zuhause zu finden. Wir kennen uns gut und würden uns freuen, zusammenbleiben zu dürfen. Sollte das nicht möglich sein, kann ich mir aber auch vorstellen, alleine in ein neues Leben zu starten – wenn meine Menschen bereit sind, mir Zeit zum Ankommen zu geben. Ich verspreche euch nicht, perfekt zu sein. Aber ich verspreche euch, mein Herz zu verschenken, wenn ihr mir die Chance gebt. Vielleicht seid genau ihr die Familie, auf die ich schon so lange warte.
