Silvestro is one of our little big heroes. He is a sweet FELV-positive cat, blind in one eye and with some ailments due to his tough street life. He is the symbol of what we strive to combat every day: homelessness, abandonment, and suffering caused by the lack of spaying and neutering. For 20 years, our animal shelter for abandoned cats has been dedicated to saving and caring for cats like him, offering a second chance to those who have not been treated kindly by life. Silvestro had found a home, but due to serious health issues with the person who adopted him, he has returned to us. Now he is seeking a new family that is aware and loving, ready to welcome him as a singleton or together with other FELV+ cats or vaccinated healthy cats. He is a affectionate, curious, and irresistible little guy: he adores cuddles, playtime, and especially his beloved cans! Many fear adopting an FELV-positive cat, but these cats can live peacefully for years, surrounded by love and attention. Adopting an FELV cat means giving love to those who need it most and choosing an ethical and responsible adoption. Come meet Silvestro and let his sweet gaze and zest for life conquer you! Our cat animal shelter is open every day until 12, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Silvestro è uno dei nostri piccoli grandi eroi. È un dolce gatto FELV positivo, cieco da un occhietto e con qualche acciacco dovuto alla dura vita di strada. È il simbolo di ciò che vogliamo combattere ogni giorno: randagismo, abbandoni e sofferenza causata dalla mancata sterilizzazione. Da 20 anni il nostro rifugio per gatti abbandonati si impegna a salvare e curare i mici come lui, offrendo una seconda possibilità a chi la vita non ha trattato con dolcezza. Silvestro aveva trovato una casa, ma per gravi problemi di salute della persona che lo aveva adottato è tornato da noi. Ora cerca una nuova famiglia consapevole e amorevole, pronta ad accoglierlo come figlio unico o insieme ad altri gatti FELV+ o sani vaccinati contro la FELV. È un micio affettuoso, curioso e irresistibile: adora le coccole, i giochi e soprattutto le sue amate scatolette! Molti temono l’adozione di un gatto FELV+, ma questi mici possono vivere serenamente per anni, circondati da affetto e attenzioni. Adottare un gatto FELV significa donare amore a chi ne ha più bisogno e scegliere un’adozione davvero etica e responsabile.
