Simon- 3 Month Old Male

Mixed Breed Cat · Male

Hi there my name is Simon! I’m a shy soul, and meeting new people can feel a little scary. I’ll probably spend some time hiding while I figure out if you’re one of the good humans. Please don’t take it personally. I just need a little extra time to learn that I’m safe. Once I trust you, I’m sure I’ll show you the wonderful cat I’m meant to be. What I need most is someone with plenty of time, patience, and understanding to help me build my confidence. If you let me come to you in my own time, I promise it’ll be worth the wait. I’d really love a home with a calm, friendly older cat who can show me the ropes. Having a confident feline friend could help me learn that people aren’t so scary after all. I could happily live with other cats. I’m not sure how I’d feel about dogs, so if there is one in the home, careful introductions would be needed. I could also live with older, sensible children who understand that I need space and won’t rush me. Once I’ve fully settled in and feel at home, I’d love access to the outdoors so I can explore and enjoy life at my own pace. If you’re the kind of person who believes the shy ones are worth waiting for, then I might just be the perfect companion for you. All I’m asking for is a chance, a little patience, and lots of love. My adoption fee is £185

About Simon- 3 Month Old Male

What life with Simon- 3 Month Old Male looks like

Simon- 3 Month Old Male is a adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at Rain Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

Frequently asked

Adopting Simon- 3 Month Old Male, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Simon- 3 Month Old Male?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Simon- 3 Month Old Male on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Simon- 3 Month Old Male if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Simon- 3 Month Old Male already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Simon- 3 Month Old Male isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Simon- 3 Month Old Male and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
