Hello, I am Sky, a dog who prefers to stay in the background. 💔 I ended up in the shelter after being seized, and to be honest... mentally, I'm not doing very well. I'm extremely anxious and the world around me is still very overwhelming. I'm not ready for a cozy household, long walks, or happy visits. I still have a lot to learn. But one thing is number one: learning to trust people. ❤️ That's why I'm looking for someone with a lot of patience, understanding, and especially no expectations. Someone who gives me the time to come out of my shell step by step. Trust first, then the rest. No rush, no pressure... just taking small steps together. 🐾 Another stable dog can certainly be an added value and, after an introduction and test in the shelter, may become my big example. Sometimes we dogs learn more from a fellow dog than from a thousand words from people. A garden is necessary, and it must be equipped with a high and sturdy fence. I'm a very anxious dog and if I'm scared, escaping may seem like an option. My future family must absolutely ensure that I'm safe and can't escape.

Hallo, ik ben Sky, een hond dat voorlopig liever op de achtergrond blijft. 💔 Ik ben via een inbeslagname in de opvang terechtgekomen en eerlijk gezegd… het gaat op mentaal vlak helemaal niet zo goed met mij. Ik ben enorm angstig en de wereld om mij heen is nog ontzettend spannend. Van een gezellig huishouden, lekker wandelen of vrolijk bezoek ontvangen, daar ben ik nog lang niet aan toe. Ik moet eigenlijk nog alles leren. Maar één ding staat met stip op nummer één: leren dat mensen te vertrouwen zijn. ❤️ Daarom zoek ik iemand met ontzettend veel engelengeduld, begrip en vooral geen verwachtingen. Iemand die mij de tijd geeft om stap voor stap uit mijn schulp te komen. Eerst vertrouwen, dan pas de rest. Geen haast, geen druk… gewoon samen kleine stapjes zetten. 🐾 Een andere, stabiele hond kan zeker een meerwaarde zijn en kan, na een kennismaking en test in het asiel, misschien wel mijn grote voorbeeld worden. Soms leren wij honden immers meer van een soortgenoot dan van duizend woorden van mensen. Een tuin is noodzakelijk, en die moet voorzien zijn van een hoge en degelijke afsluiting. Ik ben een heel angstige hond en als ik schrik, kan vluchten een optie lijken. Mijn toekomstige familie moet er dus absoluut voor zorgen dat ik veilig ben en niet kan ontsnappen.
