Slinky

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy

Slinky ID No.: 1055088 Breed: Mixed Breed Age: approx. 05/2024 Gender: Male Shoulder Height: approx. 40 cm Neutered/Spayed: Yes Location: Marbella (Spain) Application Form Slinky – Big Joie de Vivre on Short Legs Slinky (*approx. 05/2024, approx. 40 cm) arrived at our Spanish animal shelter TripleA in Marbella at the end of May 2026, unchipped. He had been found on an abandoned festival site in Marbella—tied up in the blazing sun without any water. At first, he was very quiet and reserved at the shelter, but once he met other dogs and realized that they were all happy and trusting of people, he quickly warmed up and showed just how much fun he is! Slinky loves being petted, especially on the head. He absolutely adores being close to people and can’t get enough cuddles. In fact, he can be quite persistent when asking for affection and attention 😊. He gets along perfectly with other dogs and can quickly integrate into a new dog group. At the shelter, he initially lived with three female dogs and now shares his enclosure with one female whose canine companion has been adopted. Slinky certainly didn’t come from the street. He walks very well on a leash and is generally a very easygoing, little dog. With his calm and confident nature, he could easily accompany his people on everyday activities such as visiting cafés, shopping, and more. This sweet male is friendly toward everyone he meets and often goes for walks with families including children. In his new home, he’d love to be an only dog, but he’d also surely adapt quickly to an existing pack. Children in the family are no problem either. If you’d like to give this charming, cheerful boy your heart, we’d be delighted to receive your application. Slinky is neutered, vaccinated, chipped, and has an EU pet passport. Before going to his new home, he’ll be tested for Mediterranean diseases and will have been dewormed and treated against fleas. Vaccinations: Yes Mediterranean Check: Yes Microchip: Yes Diseases: None known Adoption Fee: €500, including transport Contact Person: Kris Melka Email: Application Form

Slinky ID-Nr: 1055088 Rasse: Mischling Alter: ca. 05/2024 Geschlecht: männlich Schulterhöhe: ca. 40 cm Kastriert/Sterilisiert: Ja Aufenthalt / Ort: Marbella (Spanien) Anfrageformular Slinky – große Lebensfreude auf kurzen Beinen Slinky (*ca. 05/2024, ca. 40 cm) kam Ende Mai 2026 ungechipt in unserem spanischen Tierheim TripleA in Marbella an. About Slinky

What life with Slinky looks like

Slinky is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Helfende Hände e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Slinky, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Slinky?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helfende Hände e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Slinky on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Slinky if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helfende Hände e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Slinky already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Slinky isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helfende Hände e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Slinky and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
