The approximately four-year-old female dog was originally rescued from the street and lived with a family in the middle of the city since her puppy days. However, due to changed living circumstances, she could not stay there and is now waiting in Bosnia to start all over again. Snowflake already brings a lot with her that makes life together easier: She knows life in the house and apartment and is familiar with the normal hustle and bustle of a city. Much-traveled streets, numerous people and also children were part of her previous everyday life. She has lived in the center and therefore knows much more of life outside a shelter than many of our protégés. Other dogs are also known to Snowflake. Of course, this does not mean that everything will work automatically from day one in a new home. A new environment, new people and a completely new life are still a big change. With some time and loving companionship, her previous experience should provide a good foundation. Snowflake is a rather small female dog and with her four years has long since outgrown the wild puppy stage - without being old iron. 😉 She is spayed and microchipped and therefore already well prepared for her next big step. What she is still missing is the most important thing: people with whom she can really arrive and stay this time. Die etwa vierjährige Hündin wurde ursprünglich von der Straße gerettet und lebte seit ihrer Welpenzeit bei einer Familie mitten in der Stadt. Doch aufgrund veränderter Lebensumstände konnte sie dort nicht bleiben und wartet nun in Bosnien darauf, noch einmal ganz von vorne anfangen zu dürfen. Dabei bringt Snowflake schon einiges mit, was das gemeinsame Leben leichter macht: Sie kennt das Leben im Haus und in der Wohnung und ist mit dem ganz normalen Trubel einer Stadt vertraut. Vielbefahrene Straßen, zahlreiche Menschen und auch Kinder gehörten zu ihrem bisherigen Alltag. Sie hat mitten im Zentrum gelebt und kennt daher deutlich mehr vom Leben außerhalb eines Shelters als viele unserer Schützlinge. Auch andere Hunde sind Snowflake bekannt. Natürlich bedeutet all das nicht, dass in einem neuen Zuhause vom ersten Tag an alles selbstverständlich funktionieren wird. Eine neue Umgebung, neue Menschen und ein völlig neues Leben sind schließlich trotzdem eine große Umstellung. Mit etwas Zeit und liebevoller Begleitung dürfte ihr ihre bisherige Erfahrung aber eine gute Grundlage bieten. Snowflake ist eine eher kleine Hündin und mit ihren vier Jahren aus dem wilden Welpenalter längst heraus – ohne deshalb schon zum alten Eisen zu gehören. 😉 Sie ist kastriert und gechippt und damit bereits bestens auf ihren nächsten großen Schritt vorbereitet. Was ihr jetzt noch fehlt, ist eigentlich das Wichtigste: Menschen, bei denen sie dieses Mal wirklich ankommen und bleiben darf.
