Snowwhite

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 3 months

adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Snowwhite has found her home! Her story: Meet this mouse! This is Snowwhite, a fluffy white dream on four feet with a few sweet beige accents. Together with her sister Snow, she was unfortunately abandoned by a lake. How heartless, or? But this little furball isn't fazed at all! At just three months old, she's full of life and ready to conquer the world – preferably by your side! Snowwhite is totally sweet and friendly and knows how to interact with humans. At first, she might be a little shy, but she warms up super quickly and loves being stroked. It's clear that being abandoned scared her. But with a little patience and lots of love, she'll give you her heart! Snowwhite is totally playful, curious, and loves to run around in the garden. She hasn't had much contact with other dogs, but she's absolutely not dominant and would definitely appreciate a playmate. Snowwhite is currently living with the mother of our animal rescuer Flavia in Chinteni. She will probably become a small to medium-sized female dog and weighs just 4 kg now. Snowwhite is still a puppy and needs to learn house training. With lots of praise and regular walks, that will be quick! She also needs to practice being alone. Puppies should ideally not be left alone for long periods in their first year. So be patient and gradually increase the time, so she feels safe. Remember that she's about to enter puberty, which can be quite challenging, but with consistent training and lots of love, you'll get through it together. A consistent upbringing from the start is key here! Who can resist this sweet little face? Snowwhite is looking forward to your request! Snowwhite travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated, with her EU pet passport in her luggage. After a positive assessment, she would also be very happy with a foster home! Thank you, Nadine, for sponsoring Snowwhites path to happiness. As of 15.08.

Stand: 15.08.2025

About Snowwhite

What life with Snowwhite looks like

Snowwhite is a extra-large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Snowwhite, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Snowwhite?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Snowwhite on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Snowwhite if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Snowwhite already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Snowwhite isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Snowwhite and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
