Sofia – platziert

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Sofia (34cm/8kg) comes from Spain and must be given up sadly because her people are moving from an island to an apartment on the mainland and will then also be working full-time. You can no longer meet Sofia’s needs. Sofia is people-oriented, open, cuddly, and friendly. She gets along well with fellow animals, understands cats, and also likes children. She is sociable and quickly forms friendships with both two- and four-legged friends. Sofia is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, tested for Mediterranean diseases, and taxed. If you are interested and would like to meet her, apply with the button below. For questions about Sofia, you can contact the Dog Pension Grisette (www.girsette.ch), where she is currently housed: if there is an answering machine, please leave a message, they will call you back. Alternatively, you can contact them by email: info(at)grisette.ch. For more pictures and information, see: Sofia. We thank you for your understanding if the processing of your request takes a little longer. We will do our best to give you a response as soon as possible. However, it may happen that we receive many inquiries at once or that our resources are temporarily urgently needed elsewhere.

About Sofia – platziert

What life with Sofia – platziert looks like

Sofia – platziert is a medium-sized adult mixed breed cat waiting at Tierschutzbund Basel Regional.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.
