There, she was found on the street and then came to our partner shelter, the private Victory Shelter, as a stray. The construction of the new Victory Shelter on its own land just outside Brasov began last year. The new shelter building was completed in the summer of 2025 and in August, the big move with over 500 animals to the new shelter took place. The shelter is a showcase project—not just in Romania. And recently, the official opening ceremony took place with employees, friends, partners, and sponsors, because without the collective effort of our animal welfare colleagues, the project would never have been possible. But when everyone has the same goal and works together, a lot can be achieved! Sonia is the largest but also the shyest female dog in her group. At first, she shows herself very cautiously and doesn't really dare much. However, she is also curious, and we believe it's only a matter of time before she gains trust. Due to her size and character, we do not recommend her for young children or novice dog owners. Dort wurde sie auf der Straße gefunden und ist dann als Fundtier in unser Partnertierheim, das private Victory Shelter, gekommen.Im vergangenen Jahr begann der Bau des neuen Victory Shelters auf eigenem Grund und Boden vor den Toren Brasovs. Im Sommer 2025 wurde der Tierheim-Neubau fertiggestellt und im August fand der große Umzug mit über 500 Tieren in das neue Tierheim statt.
