Spot & Flossy (LOOKING FOR SEPARATE HOMES-WILL NOT BE REHOMED AS A PAIR)

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Young · 3 years

SPOT AND FLOSSY ARE NOT BEING REHOMED TOGETHER- THEY ARE LOOKING FOR SEPARATE HOMES. Please welcome Spot and Flossy to the hotel! This fabulous duo are approximately 2–3 years old and have arrived in our care ready to start their next exciting chapter. Spot and Flossy are Patterdales with bright minds, adventurous spirits and endless enthusiasm for life. They are looking for active homes that can embrace their love for being busy, exploring the world and having plenty of fun along the way. These two thrive when they have lots to do and would absolutely love owners who enjoy outdoor adventures and keeping clever dogs engaged. Both Spot and Flossy are incredibly friendly, lively and full of character. They adore their walks, love exploring new places and are always ready for their next adventure. Life with them is guaranteed to be entertaining, active and full of laughs. Spot has the most brilliant little habit of popping up onto his back legs whenever he catches an exciting scent, showing just how clever, curious and engaged with the world he is. Flossy is a super affectionate girl who loves attention and happily bounces over for cuddles before heading back off to continue her important investigating duties. They would absolutely shine with activities such as scent work, agility or other fun training games that allow them to use their natural talents and build an even stronger bond with their humans. They could potentially live with sensible children who understand boundaries. All introductions will take place at the centre to ensure the perfect match for everyone involved. We are looking for enthusiastic, active homes that appreciate the wonderful nature of active terriers and can offer Spot or Flossy a fun, fulfilling and adventure filled future where they can truly flourish. They have such a loving nature and deserve happiness. SPOT COULD POTENTIALLY LIVE WITH A NEUTERED FEMALE CANINE. FLOSSY COULD POTENTIALLY LIVE WITH A NEUTERED MALE CANINE. Frequently asked

Adopting Spot & Flossy (LOOKING FOR SEPARATE HOMES-WILL NOT BE REHOMED AS A PAIR), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Spot & Flossy (LOOKING FOR SEPARATE HOMES-WILL NOT BE REHOMED AS A PAIR)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Cardiff Dogs Home handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Spot & Flossy (LOOKING FOR SEPARATE HOMES-WILL NOT BE REHOMED AS A PAIR) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Spot & Flossy (LOOKING FOR SEPARATE HOMES-WILL NOT BE REHOMED AS A PAIR) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Cardiff Dogs Home will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Spot & Flossy (LOOKING FOR SEPARATE HOMES-WILL NOT BE REHOMED AS A PAIR) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Spot & Flossy (LOOKING FOR SEPARATE HOMES-WILL NOT BE REHOMED AS A PAIR) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Cardiff Dogs Home early rather than rehoming privately; they know Spot & Flossy (LOOKING FOR SEPARATE HOMES-WILL NOT BE REHOMED AS A PAIR) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
