Stewart, Motte, Salsa, Snoopie, and Knuffelwuff, 5 puppy siblings, were found together with their mother Rosita by our helpers at the scene in a sheep stall. All 6 were brought to safety, and the 5 puppies are in foster care with a friend and his wife. There they are developing wonderfully. Stewart, with his brown and white fur and black-rimmed eyes, may appear a bit serious at first glance, but that’s probably just due to his fur pattern. Just like his siblings, he is very alert and puppy-typical playful. Stewart is likely to grow to medium to large size. His mother is 55 cm tall and weighs 25 kg. Stewart is looking for people who won’t have too many expectations of him and will show him how a normal dog life works. He is still a baby and has a lot to learn. A little mishap shouldn’t be held against him, and Stewart should always be guided with a positive and reinforcing training style. He is looking forward to his new life with nature walks, lots of snuggling, and also a visit to puppy school. In the first year of life, puppies should not be left alone as much as possible. Additionally, the more demanding pubertal phase is approaching. The hormone chaos turns the lives of the little rascals upside down. They “forget” much of what they have learned and their ears are on full alert. Therefore, it is especially important during this phase to train consistently but lovingly. And there is also good news: This phase will pass! Have your interest been piqued? Then don’t wait. Stewart is eagerly waiting and should not spend the rest of his life in a dreary shelter. As soon as Stewart has all his vaccinations, it can begin. Then he will be fully vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. He will also bring his EU pet passport. Seine Geschichte: Alle Augen auf den wunderschönen Stewart. Stewart, Motte, Salsa, Snoopie und Knuffelwuff, 5 Hundebabys, wurden zusammen mit ihrer Mutter Rosita von unseren Helfer:innen vor Ort in eine Schafstall gefunden. Alle 6 wurden in Sicherheit gebracht und die 5 Welpen sind bei einem Freund und seiner Frau in einer Pflegestelle untergebracht. Dort entwickeln sie sich prächtig. Stewart, mit seinem braun weißen Fell und den schwarz umrandeten Augen, wirkt auf den ersten Blick etwas ernst, aber das liegt wohl nur an der Fellzeichnung. Genau wie seine Geschwister ist er sehr aufgeweckt und welpentypisch verspielt. Stewart wird vermutlich mittelgroß bis groß werden. Seine Mutter ist 55 cm groß und 25 kg schwer. Stewart sucht Menschen, die erstmal nichts von ihm erwarten und ihm zeigen, wie ein normales Hundeleben funktioniert. Er ist noch ein Baby und muss noch viel lernen. Das ein oder andere Malheur sollte man ihm nicht übelnehmen und Stewart stets mit einem positiv verstärkenden Erziehungsstil begleiten. Er freut sich schon auf sein neues Leben mit schönen Spaziergängen in der Natur, vielen Schmusestunden und auch auf einen Besuch in der Welpenschule. Im ersten Lebensjahr sollten Welpen so wenig wie möglich alleine sein. Außerdem steht die eher anstrengende Pubertätszeit bevor. Das Hormonchaos stellt das Leben der kleinen Racker auf den Kopf. Sie “vergessen” oft alles, was sie bisher gelernt haben und die Ohren schalten auf Durchzug. Daher ist es in dieser Phase besonders wichtig, konsequent – aber liebevoll – zu erziehen. Und es gibt auch eine gute Nachricht: Auch diese Phase geht vorüber! Haben wir Dein Interesse geweckt? Dann nichts wie los. Stewart wartet schon sehnsüchtig und soll nicht den Rest seines Lebens im tristen Shelter verbringen. Sobald Stewart alle Impfungen hat, kann es losgehen. Dann wird er vollständig geimpft sein, entwurmt, entfloht und gechipt. Auch seinen EU-Heimtierausweis bringt er mit. Für eine Kastration ist er natürlich noch zu jung. Gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro kann Stewart, nach positiver Vorkontrolle, vermittelt werden. Auch über eine Pflegestelle würde er sich freuen. Danke Silvie S.!
