adoption requirements adoption process Now adopt Stina! adoption requirements adoption process Now adopt Stina! Stina was locally rehomed! Her story: Can it be a bit of love on four paws? Then get to know Stina! The beautiful young female dog is just one year old and ready to find her own home—where she can arrive, blossom, and be loved. Stina (about 45 cm tall) is a lovable, clingy, and friendly soul. In her Romanian foster home, she shows every day how much joy and potential she has inside her. But her story began far from easy: Shaking, scared, and injured, she was found in front of a church. Many people passed by—until a compassionate woman stopped and changed her life. Today, Stina looks forward and waits for her personal happy ending. Whoever chooses Stina gets a young female dog with character and development potential. Friendly, open, playful, a female dog to steal the show. Stina probably hasn't fully experienced life in a house yet. House training, being left alone, or calmly walking on a leash—she still has much to learn. For her future family, this is a wonderful opportunity to grow together and build a deep bond. A visit to dog training classes could be a beautiful support. Stina brings many great qualities: she is compatible with cats and children and meets her environment openly and friendly. For her, we wish people with hearts, patience, and understanding for the small beginner mistakes of a young dog. An securely fenced garden would be ideal to give her security and to guide her protective instincts into positive directions. Stina is a true rough diamond—full of love, curiosity, and joy. Who will give her a home where she can arrive and explore the world with her people? She travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated with an EU pet passport. After a positive Also, she would be very happy with a foster home. Thank you to Monika V., who gave Stina her name and a piece of her identity. As of 20.02.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Stand: 20.02.2026

About Stina

What life with Stina looks like

Stina is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Stina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Stina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Stina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Stina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Stina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Stina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Stina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
