Suki

Mixed Breed · Female

Suki STRICTLY INDOOR ONLY Suki is our stunning tabby girl, and while she may be petite, this little lady is certainly not short on personality! 🥰 Suki arrived in our care as part of the big intake of 62 cats, and she has really started to show us what a lovely little character she is. She has her favourite feline friends and absolutely loves curling up alongside them, enjoying their company and taking in everything that’s going on around her. She can be quite content simply watching the world go by from the comfort of her favourite spot. Suki is also a MAJOR foodie! 😂 Food is definitely the way to this little girl’s heart, and she gets very excited whenever she thinks something tasty might be coming her way. 🍗🐟 She also loves her home comforts and is very happy when she has somewhere cosy and comfortable to curl up.☺️ Her feline friends are particularly important to her, and they provide her with a great deal of comfort. Because of this, Suki would need a feline friend in her forever home, ideally another friendly cat who will enjoy having her around and give her that companionship she clearly loves. We’d love to see Suki find a home where she can settle in at her own pace, enjoy all her favourite comforts and have a feline friend by her side. 🏡🐈‍⬛

About Suki

What life with Suki looks like

Suki is a large adult mixed breed cat waiting at Almost Home Animal Rescue NI in Belfast.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇮🇪Adopting from Ireland

Irish shelters require a home check (often phone or video) and an adoption contract. Animals are vaccinated, chipped, and registered. Cross-border placements to mainland Europe require the rabies titer test (TRACES system).

Frequently asked

Adopting Suki, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Suki?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Almost Home Animal Rescue NI handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Suki on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Suki if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Almost Home Animal Rescue NI will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Suki already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Suki isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Almost Home Animal Rescue NI early rather than rehoming privately; they know Suki and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
