Susi musste sich leider erst etwas in Geduld üben, bevor sie in Katzenhaus einziehen konnte, aber sie würde vermutlich sagen: das Warten hat sich gelohnt! In ihrer Quarantänezeit war Susi immer lieb, genügsam und hat sich nicht in den Vordergrund gedrängt. Im Katzenhaus ist sie dann richtig aufgeblüht und auch noch einiges an Selbstbewusstsein dazu gewonnen. Die ersten paar Tage waren von den üblichen kleinen Fauchern geprägt – und plötzlich war Susi richtig interessiert und fast aufdringlich. Vor allem mit Katzenhaus-Sozialarbeiter Kimba versteht sie sich blendend. Inzwischen ist sie (für Susi-Verhältnisse) richtig aktiv und kommt gemeinsam mit Kimba meist als erste angelaufen, wenn die Tür aufgeht. Dank der Artgenossen kommt also die junge und lebhafte Katze Seite in Susi durch, die sie bestimmt nicht mehr missen möchte. Wir vermitteln sie daher mit bzw. zu einem Artgenossen ähnlichen Alters. Insgesamt gibt Susi sich ansonsten wenig anspruchsvoll. Sie genießt menschliche und tierische Gesellschaft gleichermaßen und möchte nicht zu viel Zeit alleine verbringen. So wäre Susi unserer Einschätzung nach in Wohnungshaltung mit z.B. einem gesicherten Balkon mehr als zufrieden. Was ihre Rasse und entsprechende Genetik angeht, hätte Susi mehr ‘Glück’ haben können, wie man auf den Fotos im Profil sehen kann. Ob sich irgendwo in ihren Stammbaum eine Perserkatze verirrt hat, können wir nur vermuten. Bisher hatte sie aber keinerlei Beschwerden oder Einschränkungen bei Nase und Augen und wir hoffen, dass das auch so bleibt.
