We took him in on July 24, 2026, from Bucov (shelter in Romania). At the shelter, he was oppressed by a more dominant male dog and arrived very thin. Now he can finally eat his fill and gradually gain weight. Despite his past, it’s all the more beautiful to see how this sweet male—with his charming smoky eyes and a Marilyn Monroe-like spot on his cheek—immediately opens up to his new, better life and fully embraces it. Sverri already loves going for walks; he’s active and shows curiosity without pulling excessively—so being outdoors with him is truly a joy. He longs for experiences and, alongside long walks with his long legs and love of movement, might also enjoy dog sports or joining you on jogging rounds. Most of all, he loves being at home close to his foster mom and generally just wants to be part of everything that’s going on. Still, he also knows how to relax well and is a laid-back companion who sleeps a lot and processes all the new experiences he’s having. For short periods, Sverri is already left alone—which should continue to be practiced—and he’s also house-trained, a real star! Sverri lives at his foster home with a little female dog, toward whom he behaves socially. Nevertheless, we can primarily imagine him as a single dog, since he isn’t particularly interested in other four-legged friends and doesn’t orient himself toward them either. This lovely spotted guy is a total people-lover; people are what matter most to him. However, if there’s already a nice female dog in the family and he gets plenty of attention from his humans, this combination could also work out. He hasn’t met any cats yet. Sverri is simply a dream dog—now all he needs are the right people by his side ❤️ Can you imagine accompanying this great guy through life, loving him sincerely, and nurturing him with lots of affection? Wir haben ihn am 24.07.2026 aus Bucov (Shelter in Rumänien) übernommen. Im Shelter wurde er von einem dominanteren Rüden unterdrückt und war bei seiner Ankunft sehr abgemagert. Nun darf er sich endlich satt essen und nach und nach an Gewicht zulegen. Trotz seiner Vergangenheit ist es umso schöner zu sehen, wie der süße Rüde mit dem charmanten -smoky eye- und dem Marilyn Monroe Fleck auf der Wange, sich sofort für sein neues, schöneres Leben öffnet und es in vollen Zügen aufsaugt. Sverri geht bereits sehr gerne spazieren, ist dabei aktiv und zeigt Entdeckergeist, ohne jedoch übermäßig zu ziehen - somit ist das draußen unterwegs sein mit ihm eine wahre Freude. Er möchte was erleben und hätte neben ausgedehnten Spaziergängen mit seinen langen Beinen und Bewegungsfreude vielleicht auch Spaß an Hundesport oder daran, Joggingrunden zu begleiten. Am liebsten ist er Zuhause in der Nähe seines Pflegefrauchens und möchte generell einfach im Geschehen dabei sein. Dennoch kommt er auch gut zur Ruhe und ist ein entspannter Genosse, der viel schläft und die neuen Erlebnisse verarbeitet. Für kurze Zeit bleibt Sverri bereits alleine, was weiterhin geübt werden sollte, und stubenrein ist der Streber auch. Sverri lebt auf seiner Pflegestelle mit einer kleinen Hündin zusammen, der er sich gegenüber sozial verhält. Wir können uns ihn dennoch primär als Einzelhund vorstellen, da er sich nicht sonderlich für andere Vierbeiner interessiert und auch nicht an ihnen orientiert. Der schöne Tupfenkaspar ist ein Menschenfreund durch und durch, diese sind ihm am Wichtigsten. Wenn sich jedoch eine nette Hundedame bereits in der Familie befindet und er genug Aufmerksamkeit seiner Menschen bekommt, ist diese Konstellation auch vorstellbar. Katzen kennt er noch nicht. Sverri ist einfach ein Traumhund, dem jetzt nur noch die richtigen Menschen an seiner Seite fehlen ❤️ Könnt ihr euch vorstellen diesen tollen Kerl durchs Leben zu begleiten, ihn aufrichtig zu lieben und zu liebevoll zu fördern?
