SUZI

Pit Bull Terrier · Female · Puppy · 10 months

Pitbullka, born October 3, 2025. Appearance: reddish coat with white markings, athletic build. Temperament: intelligent, eager to learn, gets along well with other dogs, suffers from separation anxiety. Health: vaccinated, microchipped. Location: dog hotel, Grójec. Adoption contact: 501 797 018. Suzi is an athletic and graceful pit bull, born on October 3, 2025. Not only is she beautiful, but she’s also smart and stable! She doesn’t have any behavioral issues—she interacts beautifully with people, looks closely at her handler, and is eager to cooperate. She’s perfect for training because she’s very bright and readily follows instructions. Suzi loves water, travels nicely in the car, navigates urban environments without problems, and calmly spends time by your side—whether it’s in a café or waiting in the vet’s office. She gets along well with both adults and children. She doesn’t guard any resources, walks nicely on a leash, and knows basic commands. She’s accustomed to living indoors. She remains calm when left alone as long as her human is nearby. Right now, Suzi lives in a group of dogs at a foster home and communicates beautifully with them. We’ve also noticed that she prefers larger dogs. As for drawbacks (because no one’s perfect)—Suzi suffers from separation anxiety. In the first few days, she can be quite clingy at home, but once clear rules are established, she eases up. When left alone, she may destroy small items like hats or remote controls. We’re currently training her to use a crate kennel. She occasionally has accidents with house training. What kind of home do we seek for Suzi? One that will appreciate her—and above all, make the most of her potential! A home that’s active, where the dog accompanies you on hikes and long walks. And in this home, there should be a sensible family who can set clear and consistent rules. A family that “knows about dogs” or is genuinely eager to learn how to handle a dog wisely. Suzi is vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. For now, she’s still too young for spaying, so her new family will commit to the procedure via a contract. Suzi is currently on a horse meat diet because she has food allergies. She’s staying at a dog hotel near Grójec. People interested in adopting this wonderful lady are invited to contact us by phone at 501 797 018 or by email.

Zdrowie: zaszczepiona, zachipowana.Miejsce pobytu: hotel dla psów, Grójec.Kontakt w sprawie adopcji: 501 797 018, Suzi to atletyczna i zgrabna pitbullka, urodzona 03.10.2025. Przyuczamy ją obecnie do kennel klatki.

About SUZI

What life with SUZI looks like

SUZI is a puppy/kitten pit bull terrier dog waiting at Fundacja AST (Adoptuj Staffa i Teriera) in Poland.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting SUZI, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about SUZI?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja AST (Adoptuj Staffa i Teriera) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw SUZI on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt SUZI if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja AST (Adoptuj Staffa i Teriera) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is SUZI already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if SUZI isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja AST (Adoptuj Staffa i Teriera) early rather than rehoming privately; they know SUZI and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
