Sydney is a large, impressive male dog who hopes for a new chance in the desolate Public Shelter in Baia Mare. Unfortunately, we know nothing about his past, but his future is bound to be happy. That's why he was photographed and posted on this page so that a new, better chapter in the sunlit pages of his life can begin. Sydney is approximately 70 cm tall and is estimated to be around three years old. With his beautiful, snow-white fur, he is a large, strong, and impressive sight. From black eyes, he looks skeptically into the camera. Unfortunately, the striking male dog seems to have lost faith in people. He is shy and wants nothing to do with us. But who can blame him when one considers how deprived and hard his previous life must have been. It probably requires a great deal of patience and knowledge of dogs to find the path to his sad soul and win his trust. His compatibility with other dogs has also not yet been tested. We assume that Sydney has not heard anything about life as a well-bred house dog. He still needs to learn all the rules for living closely with people. Therefore, we would strongly recommend a visit to a positively working dog training class after the adjustment period to train with Sydney, give him security and stability, and strengthen the bond with his new people. We wish for dog-experienced adoptants for this handsome male dog, as his appearance suggests that he is a mix with a herding dog. Ideally, Sydney's new people should already have experience with the husbandry of a herding dog and be able to provide an enclosed property in the countryside where he can move freely and be allowed to guard. Additionally, one should have plenty of time for mental stimulation with the beautiful dog and stand as a strong and consistent partner by his side. Sydney ist ein großer, eindrucksvoller Rüde, der im trostlosen Public Shelter in Baia Mare auf eine neue Chance hofft. Über seine Vergangenheit wissen wir leider nichts, aber seine Zukunft soll auf alle Fälle glücklich werden. Deshalb wurde er fotografiert und auf diese Seite gestellt, damit für ihn ein neues, besseres Kapitel auf der Sonnenseite des Lebens beginnen kann. Sydney ist ca. 70 cm groß und schätzungsweise drei Jahre alt. Mit seinem wunderschönen, schneeweißen Fell ist er eine große, kräftige und beeindruckende Erscheinung. Aus schwarzen Augen schaut er skeptisch in die Kamera. Leider scheint der auffällige Rüde den Glauben an die Menschen verloren zu haben. Er ist scheu und möchte nichts mit uns zu tun haben. Aber wer mag ihm das verdenken, wenn man sich vorstellt, wie entbehrungsreich und hart sein bisheriges Leben verlaufen sein muss. Wahrscheinlich braucht es ganz besonders viel Geduld und Hundeverstand, um den Weg zu seiner traurigen Seele zu finden und sein Vertrauen zu gewinnen. Auch seine Verträglichkeit mit anderen Hunden konnte leider noch nicht getestet werden. Wir gehen davon aus, dass Sydney von dem Leben als wohlerzogener Haushund noch nichts gehört hat. Alle Regeln für das enge Zusammenleben mit Menschen muss er noch lernen. Deshalb würden wir nach der Eingewöhnungszeit den Besuch einer positiv arbeitenden Hundeschule dringend empfehlen, um mit Sydney zu trainieren, ihm Sicherheit und Beständigkeit zu geben und die Bindung zu seinen neuen Menschen zu festigen. Wir wünschen uns für der bildschönen Rüden hundeerfahrene Adoptant:innen, denn sein Aussehen lässt darauf schließen, dass es sich bei ihm um einen Herdenschutzhund-Mix handelt. Am besten sollten Sydneys neue Menschen bereits Erfahrungen mit der Haltung eines Herdenschutzhundes besitzen und ihm ein eingezäuntes Grundstück im ländlichen Gebiet bieten können, auf dem er sich frei bewegen und das er bewachen darf. Außerdem sollte man viel Zeit für Beschäftigung mit dem wunderschönen Hund haben und ihm als starke und beständige Partner zur Seite stehen. Auch eine erfahrene Pflegestelle könnte für Sydney eine echte Starthilfe in ein neues, besseres Leben sein.
