TOUFFINETTE (renamed TAÏGA by me) is a female Border-Collie puppy, from a breeding program that asked me to take her in, after discovering her congenital deafness. This deafness at birth is the result of her "double Merle" genotype, meaning that both of her parents are carriers of the Merle gene.
