It is hunting season in Sardinia (always from mid-September to mid-February), and during this time, dogs are "sorted out." Tanca was found in the Campagna south of Sassari by someone who then asked our helper Alessandra for help because he couldn't keep the female dog himself. The female dog, of course, was not microchipped. She was very thin, who knows how long she had been wandering around. Tanca showed herself in the first days she lived with Alessandra as rather shy. But we had already noticed at Paola, when we met her during our visit in early January 2025, that she is very approachable and opens up quickly if you engage with her calmly and affectionately. With the two children who were present at Paola during our photo shoot, she was immediately totally loving and sought their proximity. For Tanca, we very much hope that she will soon start a new life. We want to bring her to Germany as quickly as possible so that she can find her home with loving people who will give her security and safety and include her in all family activities. March 28, 2026: Tanca was allowed to travel to her German foster home. Es ist Jagdzeit auf Sardinien (immer von Mitte September bis Mitte Februar), und da wird bei den Jägern "aussortiert". Die Hündin war natürlich nicht gechippt. Sie war sehr mager, wer weiß, wie lange sie schon herumgeirrt war. Tanca zeigte sich in den ersten Tagen, die sie bei Alessandra lebte, als recht schüchtern. Aber wir hatten dann schon bei Paola, als sie uns während unseres Besuchs Anfang Januar 2025 vorgestellt wurde, gemerkt, dass sie sehr zugänglich ist und sich schnell öffnet, wenn man sich ruhig und liebevoll mit ihr beschäftigt. Mit den beiden Kindern, die bei Paola während unserer Fotoaktion zugegen waren, war sie gleich total lieb und suchte deren Nähe.Für Tanca wünschen wir uns sehr, dass sie bald in ein neues Leben starten darf. Wir möchten sie so schnell wie möglich nach Deutschland holen, damit sie hier ihr Zuhause bei lieben Menschen finden kann, die ihr Sicherheit und Geborgenheit schenken und sie an allen familiären Aktivitäten teilhaben lassen.28.
