Start / Animals / Cats / Cat / TaylorTaylor22.01.2026. Breed: EKGender: female, neutered. Color: white-red: born: 2024Found at: Tann Categories: Cat, Cats, Animals Description Taylor is invisible. In the large cat room, there are many houses, caves, and corners. In the backmost corner, she is surely sitting safely, Taylor. She is a very pretty cat, white with red and beautiful eyes. She likes to lie with other shy cats, which seems to give her security, so we assume she would also like to have another cat in her new home. The people who hope to take her in soon should have a lot of patience and reliability, letting Taylor come at her own pace and deciding when she can trust and allow closeness. For some cats, this happens very quickly, even if they were as shy as Taylor when they arrived. As a found cat, Taylor should be given the opportunity for a walk after the adaptation period. Info: Based on observations at the animal shelter or information from third parties, these do not represent guaranteed characteristics!Taylor22.01.2026. Breed: EKGender: female, neutered. About Taylor

What life with Taylor looks like

Taylor is a large puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at Tierheim Fulda in Fulda.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Taylor, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Taylor?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Fulda handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Taylor on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Taylor if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Fulda will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Taylor already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Taylor isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Fulda early rather than rehoming privately; they know Taylor and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
