Adopt Teddy and Hebe – Bonded Pair

Male · Adult · 7 years

Teddy and Hebe – Bognor Regis These 2 special dogs are now ready to find their forever people, they have been through so much and have a genuine love for each other so we would love to find a home that would take them as a pair. Teddy Male, 7 years old Standard Shaded Red Neutered Hebe Female, 13 years old Miniature Black and Tan Neutered Teddy is a brave IVDD warrior having previously had surgery for the condition. Since being in his amazing foster home he has shown signs of improvement and we are looking for a home who will continue to work on this with him. Full support from The Red Foundation Team will be given. Due to his condition he does have toileting accidents, so any forever home would need to be able to manage this. Hebe has no teeth, but is in great health and would love a sofa of her own to cuddle up on with her little “big” brother. Both dogs are good with people, other dogs/animals and could live with older children. They are happy to be left alone for up to 4 hours. Requirements in a home Children 10+ Good with dogs Someone able and willing to work on rehab with Teddy and support a dog with IVDD Adoption fee for the pair is £350 If you could offer these very special dogs their forever home please contact

About Teddy and Hebe – Bonded Pair

What life with Teddy and Hebe – Bonded Pair looks like

Teddy and Hebe – Bonded Pair is a large adult dog waiting at The Red Foundation in Pentlow Street.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Teddy and Hebe – Bonded Pair, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Teddy and Hebe – Bonded Pair?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. The Red Foundation handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Teddy and Hebe – Bonded Pair on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Teddy and Hebe – Bonded Pair if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — The Red Foundation will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Teddy and Hebe – Bonded Pair already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Teddy and Hebe – Bonded Pair isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with The Red Foundation early rather than rehoming privately; they know Teddy and Hebe – Bonded Pair and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
