TERRY, that's what we named him. We don't know what he was called before, since he was left tied up among the rubbish bins waiting for someone to pick him up. When a volunteer found him he was trembling like a leaf, and his eyes were pure terror. We think he has probably lived in a flat, since he looks well cared for and used to being around people, which is why he is having such a terrible time at the shelter: he is grieving! He is a male who has not yet reached one year of age, he still has the character of a puppy, very gentle, affectionate and playful. We would love to find a home for him as soon as possible, because he is pure tenderness and life in the shelter makes him very sad. To the person who left him without pity, tied up beside the rubbish bins: besides being thoughtless, since the dog could have died by choking on his own rope or could have untied himself and run off, you are also a coward with no respect for this animal's life or for life in general. We will do everything possible to find his former owners and report them, because what they have done to this dog has a name: ABANDONMENT, and it must be judged under the law, as set out in the animal protection code of Catalonia. TERRY, així l'hem anomenat. No sabem com es deia abans ja que el van deixar lligat a les basures esperant que algú el recollís. Quan una voluntària el va trobar tremolava com una fulla, els seus ulls eren pur terror. Pensem que probablement ha viscut en un pis ja que se'l veu ben cuidat i habituat a estar amb persones i per això ho està passant fatal a la protectora: es mor de pena! és un mascle que no arriba a l'any d'edat, encara té caràcter de cadell, molt dócil, afectuós i juganer. Ens agradaria trobar una casa el més aviat possible per ell pq de veritat que és tot tendresa i la vida al refugi el fa estar molt trist. A la persona que el va deixar sense pietat lligat al costat de les basures dir-li que a més a més de ser un inconscient ja que el gos podia haver mort ofegat amb la seva pròpia corda o bé es podia haver deslligat i escapat, és també un covard que no té cap respecte per la vida d'aquest animal ni per la vida en general. Farem tot el possible per trobar als seus antics propietaris i denunciar-los ja que el que han fet amb aquest gos té un nom: ABANDONAMENT i ha de ser jutjat per la llei tal i com recull i el codi de protecció dels animals de Catalunya.
