The Beatles Boys

Male Β· Young Β· 1 year

Background: Meet the Beatles Boys; Ringo (white), George (dumbo), Paul (black and white) and John (black and white), a bonded group of 4 neutered male rats. The boys came to Raystede due to a change in living circumstances and are ready to look for their new home together. The boys are very friendly and a bit wriggly with handling. Ideal Home: The boys will require a large enclosure of at least 152cm x 90cm x 60cm with plenty of enrichment, hammocks and digging opportunities to keep themselves entertained. They are active when they choose to be so would also benefit from an additional play space outside of their enclosure. Children: Can live with older teens. Other animals: Must be kept separate from any other animals in the home. Must be rehomed together but could potentially be bonded into another mischief of male or female rats. Additional needs: The boys are currently being treated for potential parasites - please ask the CFS team for more information on this. If you think you could offer the lovely Beatles Boys their forever home, please complete an online application form.

Frequently asked

Adopting The Beatles Boys, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about The Beatles Boys?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Raystede Centre handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw The Beatles Boys on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt The Beatles Boys if I live in another country?
Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Raystede Centre what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is The Beatles Boys already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask Raystede Centre directly what is included and what The Beatles Boys still needs.
What happens if The Beatles Boys isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Raystede Centre early rather than rehoming privately; they know The Beatles Boys and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
