Thea - waits in the animal shelter in Hungary - Thea – Blind female dog with a big soul seeks a quiet home We found Thea late at night – alone, drenched, and shivering, in a deep street ditch. She smelled strongly of standing water, her fur was matted, and she looked completely neglected. At that time, we did not know what this little old soul had gone through. It soon became apparent that Thea is completely blind. Additionally, she suffers from diabetes and requires insulin injections twice daily. Finding the right dosage took time and patience – but now her condition is stable, and she lives without complications. Despite her blindness, Thea has adapted remarkably well. As long as her surroundings remain familiar, she moves confidently and self-assuredly – though she occasionally trips over obstacles. She uses her keen sense of smell and hearing to connect with the world around her. Thea was born around the beginning of 2015 and is approximately 45 cm tall. In addition to this, she had to undergo surgery due to a severe inguinal hernia. Yet, one cannot tell anything about it today. She senses people and other dogs very accurately – and greets them with calmness, friendliness, and gentle presence. Thea is wise, quiet, and loving – a special female dog who, in her golden years, needs nothing more than security, safety, and a peaceful home with people who will open their hearts for a unique companion. Sie roch stark nach stehendem Wasser, ihr Fell war verfilzt, und sie machte einen völlig verwahrlosten Eindruck. Damals wussten wir noch nicht, was diese kleine, alte Seele alles durchgemacht hatte.Bald stellte sich heraus, dass Thea vollständig blind ist. Außerdem leidet sie an Diabetes und benötigt zweimal täglich Insulinspritzen. Die richtige Dosierung zu finden, erforderte Zeit und Geduld – doch inzwischen ist ihr Zustand stabil, und sie lebt beschwerdefrei.Trotz ihrer Blindheit hat sich Thea erstaunlich gut angepasst. Solange ihre Umgebung vertraut bleibt, bewegt sie sich sicher und selbstbewusst – auch wenn sie gelegentlich mal über ein Hindernis stolpert. Sie nutzt ihre feine Nase und ihre Ohren, um mit der Welt in Verbindung zu bleiben.Thea wurde etwa Anfang 2015 geboren und ist ca. 45 cm groß. Als wäre das alles nicht schon genug gewesen, musste sie zusätzlich wegen eines schweren Leistenbruchs operiert werden. Doch man merkt ihr davon heute nichts mehr an.Sie spürt Menschen und andere Hunde sehr genau – und begegnet ihnen mit Ruhe, Freundlichkeit und sanfter Präsenz. Thea ist weise, still und liebevoll – eine ganz besondere Hündin, die in ihren goldenen Jahren nichts mehr braucht als Sicherheit, Geborgenheit und ein ruhiges Zuhause mit Menschen, die ihr Herz für eine ganz besondere Gefährtin öffnen.
