His story: Theo was purchased by a family and then simply not wanted anymore. Instead of bringing him to the animal shelter, he was put on a chain outside. Unfortunately, many dogs in Romania must endure this fate. Luckily, an animal rescuer became aware of his situation. So, Theo was placed in a Romanian foster home. Theo is a striking beauty. With his white chest and slightly silvery fur, he stands out. He is approximately 50 cm tall and weighs around 25 kg. Theo is friendly with humans and gets along well with both cats and his fellow animals. We suspect that Theo is a Labrador Retriever-mixed breed. Labradors were originally bred as hunting dogs. They are known as very friendly, active, and hardworking dogs. They are not only distinguished by their good sense of smell and incredible endurance but also by their love for water and a pronounced desire to retrieve. We would like Theo to be not just a companion for beautiful walks but also to be properly exercised, such as through dummy training, nose work, and other activities. His new family should be aware that Theo has not yet experienced life in a loving family. He still needs to learn the whole puppy ABC and puberty is in full swing. Here, he needs people who can approach him with love and patience, and possibly also attend positive dog training classes with him and forgive him one or two mishaps. Leash walking, house training, and being left alone are still foreign concepts to him. During puberty, he will likely test boundaries and perhaps even forget some things he has learned. But once this phase is overcome, Theo will definitely make a great lifelong companion. Theo is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He brings an EU pet passport and can be adopted after a positive foster home experience. We would be very happy to have a foster home for the sweet guy! Who can offer Theo a loving forever home? Seine Geschichte: Theo wurde sich von einer Familie angeschafft und dann einfach nicht mehr gewollt. Anstatt ihn ins Tierheim zu bringen, wurde er nach draußen an die Kette gelegt. Dieses Schicksal müssen leider viele Hunde in Rumänien ertragen. Zum Glück wurde eine Tierschützerin darauf aufmerksam gemacht. So konnte Theo bei einer rumänischen Pflegestelle untergebracht werden. Theo ist eine auffallende Schönheit. Mit seiner weißen Brust und seinem leicht silbernen Fell sticht er besonders hervor. Er ist ca. 50 cm groß und wiegt ca. 25 kg. Theo ist freundlich zum Menschen und kommt sowohl mit Katzen als auch mit seinen Artgenossen gut aus. Wir vermuten, dass Theo ein Labrador Retriever-Mischling ist. Labrador-Retriever wurden ursprünglich als Jagdhund gezüchtet. Sie sind als sehr freundliche, aktive und arbeitsfreudige Hunde bekannt. Sie zeichnen sich dabei nicht nur durch eine gute Nase und enorme Ausdauer aus, sondern auch durch eine ausgesprochene Liebe zum Wasser und ausgeprägte Apportierfreude. Wir würden uns für Theo wünschen, dass man mit ihm nicht nur schöne Spaziergänge macht, sondern ihn auch artgerecht auslastet in Form von z.B. Dummy-Training, Nasen- und Suchspiele usw. Seiner neuen Familie sollte bewusst sein, dass Theo das Leben in einer liebevollen Familie noch nicht kennt. Er muss noch das ganze Welpen ABC lernen und auch die Pubertät ist in vollem Gange. Hier braucht er Menschen, die mit viel Liebe und Geduld vorgehen, ggf. auch eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule mit ihm besuchen und ihm das ein oder andere Missgeschick verzeihen. Leinenführung, Stubenreinheit und Alleinbleiben sind für ihn noch Fremdwörter. Während der Pubertät wird er sicherlich Grenzen testen und vielleicht schon gelernte Dinge wieder „vergessen“. Aber wenn man diese Phase erstmal gemeistert hat, wird Theo ganz bestimmt ein toller Partner fürs Leben werden. Theo ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Er bringt einen EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in seine neue Familie ziehen. Auch über eine Pflegestelle für den süßen Mann würden wir uns sehr freuen! Wer kann Theo ein liebevolles Für-Immer-Zuhause bieten?
