Thore is a male Shepherd mix, born around September 2022, standing approximately 55 cm tall at the shoulder and weighing about 16 kg. Thore originally comes from Spain. In June 2026, he was able to travel to Flörsheim, 65439, where he’s now waiting for his forever home. In familiar situations, Thore proves to be very affectionate and attached to his family members. He loves cuddling with his family and is delighted by any form of attention or interaction. In a relaxed environment, he quickly and eagerly learns new commands. He enjoys splashing around in the lake and is also a good swimmer. Without complaining, he gets into the car and makes a calm passenger. He reliably signals when he needs to go outside and is fully house-trained. In unfamiliar situations, Thore quickly becomes uncertain and stressed. His interactions with other dogs vary: with some, he remains neutral; with others, he shows uncertainty or even defensive behavior, barking and pulling strongly on the leash. He also keeps strangers at bay by barking. When daily life is calm and low-stimulus, Thore demonstrates just how well he obeys basic commands and can reliably perform “sit” and “stay.” In exciting or highly distracting situations, however, he still struggles to concentrate and follow commands. Nevertheless… Thore completely ignores dynamic stimuli such as cyclists or joggers. We’re looking for people who have experience handling insecure dogs for Thore. Thore ist ein ca. 09/2022 geborener Schäferhund-Mix-Rüde, mit einer Schulterhöhe von ca. 55 cm und einem Gewicht von ca. 16 kg. Thore kommt ursprünglich aus Spanien. Im August 2026 konnte er nach 01796 Pirna ausreisen und wartet hier auf sein – Zuhause für immer – Thore zeigt sich in bekannten Situationen als sehr liebenswert und anhänglich. Er kuschelt gerne mit seinen Familienmitgliedern und freut sich über jede Ansprache. In entspannter Atmosphäre lernt er neue Kommandos schnell und gerne. Er liebt es, im See zu Plantschen und schwimmt auch gut. Ohne zu murren steigt er ins Auto und ist ein entspannter Beifahrer. Er sagt zuverlässig Bescheid wenn er mal raus muss und ist stubenrein. In unbekannten Situationen reagiert Thore schnell unsicher und gestresst. Begegnungen mit anderen Hunden verlaufen unterschiedlich. Bei einigen reagiert er neutral, bei anderen zeigt er Unsicherheit oder Abwehr durch Verbellen und starkem Ziehen an der Leine. Auch fremde Menschen hält er sich durch Bellen auf Abstand. Wenn der Alltag ruhig und reizarm ist, zeigt Thore wie gut sein Grundgehorsam ist und er kann Sitz und „ Decke“ zuverlässig ausführen. In aufregenden Situationen oder bei starker Ablenkung fällt es ihm noch schwer sich zu konzentrieren und den Kommandos zu folgen.
